they are probably going to release a statement which goes something like this:

"We are aware that all-star packs were mistakenly being sold for 0 credits for a short period of time on Saturday. While we understand that this is unfair for the majority of the players who have worked hard to build up their decks by playing the game and/or purchasing card packs, we have examined the data and have determined that only a small portion of the player base was able to take advantage of this temporary change in all-star pack price. Since this is a fault on our part, we are not going to penalize any players that purchased the all-star packs during this time. We are therefore not going to delete or remove any of the cards that were obtained during this time. As a consolation to all of our players, we are giving each player 10,000 RP, which can be used to purchase cards on the AH. We thank you for your cooperation and understanding."

And if this happens I'm gone and I'm taking all my past purchases with me lol

I'm just pointing out the hypocrisy.

Whether someone was enriched with a free card or with an almost free card, they got a card that they otherwise wouldn't have gotten.

Yeah but someone getting an almost free Star card that they spent their earned RP for, is not ANYWHERE close to someone taking advantage of the glitch and getting 15+ all star star cards.


You are comparing apples to oranges.

What do you have in mind for "them taking a hit on this"?? Just let everyone keep everything and keep going??

I see youve been hitting the like button on all the sour/angry posts. Please keep in mind that many of the players that got to open these packs are also concerned with the future of this game. Its not those players who created the initial problem, that was CD.

Did you see me advertising that everyone should keep all these AS cards?

If they have the technical ability to take away all AS cards it would hurt the players who bought through non glitch packs. They should reimburse all those AS pack purchases.
Slim chance that would happen because it would hurt them financially, but thats the kind of hit im talking about.

You're missing the entire point. If they take away all star cards, it won't be EVERY all star card. They can see exactly which members opened up the free packs and what cards they got.


People who bought with credits will still have theirs. Or earned through a season.

This late in they haven't done anything yet so it's highly unlikely that a fix is forthcoming. Maybe another slick way to get you back invested in the game but don't expect a rollback.

I'm putting my money on the "we've examined the data" blah blah blah routine. Since that's their go-to canned response.

Its another auction house with better cards. They are posted in there like once a week or so.

CD posts them. Usually 4 spec cards. Sometimes RC cards from the losing side. Or guys who won player of the week.

And usually they have 4 specs like the Rttc cards.

That was almost a perfect CD style response
