That is just ignorance. CD won't be the first or the last company to make a mistake and fix it. Sue them and let me know how it goes. Bringing a company (CD is huge by the way because of its parent company) to court over a couple tens of dollars for Star Contracts while lawyers cost hundreds an hour. Nobody was EVER entitled to anything.

Try to sue them all you want. As long as CD gives everything back (Star contracts, Wild cards, etc.), there really is no case for a lawsuit.

People take advantage of a glitch and they think its rightfully earned lol.

It is more like if a store marked an item down by too much by accident and then wanted the item back when they realized the error. That is exactly what CD has done. Whether it was marked down by 15 % or 100 %, this is just them taking back items they accidentally put on sale. Anyone talking about lawsuits is nuts and needs to calm down. But this is more than grounds to get any purchase you have made in this app, that you can claim is connected to items used on the cards being removed, refunded

Well of course, if someone spent money on star contracts and used it to pro any of the AS cards, they have every right to have the money refunded.

I don't think anyone is saying those AS cards are rightfully earned. I think they are referring to the cards that they earned the legit way that they trained into those AS cards.

I do agree that if CD can properly return those WC and star contracts, then no one can really complain. Or threaten lawsuits.

Yeah, guy says taking cards back rightfully earned and I'm guessing he means the AS cards because that's what they are most likely taking. If anything other than those cards from packs are taken then that's a different conversation but until then that's the impression I'm under.

If your referring to the original tumblr pic post a few posts back, he says the cards trained into the AS cards are legit, not the AS cards. So all those commons, uncommons or even possibly fully trained leg pros they used to train the AS cards are now gone and will not be returned.

If you accidentally deleted a star/playoff/legendary card in the past and you contacted them to restore it and they obliged, it always came back untrained and one slot. You never were recouped what went into maxing it out. Everyone who got the free cards knew that there were not entitled to them and there was a possibility that they would be taken back, especially with how much it was actually abused by some. Without a full rollback, which they already said is not happening, people are always going to be in a different position to where they were when they clicked on the packs.

This incident is a whole new ballpark from mistakes like what you've described at the beginning of your post. Personally, I agree with you about training away cards accidentally is on the fault of the user and CD should not have to recoup that. This is exactly why they implemented the lock button.

However, When it comes to a pack that they advertised as 100% off, you can not automatically say it wasn't intended. Now, we know what CD is like and almost immediately we assumed it had to have been unintended. But since CD took its sweet time even acknowledging what happened, they should not punish the player who, for lack of a better word "purchased", those packs.

So for this all to end amicably CD should delete the AS cards from the free packs but make sure to, at the very least, refund any WC and star contracts used on those AS cards. And if possible replace training fodder but I don't see this being very likely.

This is all also speculation on our parts. We need to wait for legitimate proof of what they are actually going to do since their tumblr post was so vague.

I'm so happy with this outcome, game is fair again.
And CD reputation is also messed up, so double fun!

Now i'm gonna say something unpopoular:

I think there's no reason to complain if you lost your WCs proing those AS cards.
You knew those cards weren't "legit", because CD is not a company which does giveaways, we all know come on.
You knew that something would have happened.
You used the WCs? Your choice, your risk.
Even if I got those cards, i would have never put a WC into them, at least until an official announcement by CD.
