And his new V2 rival pro cards will stomp any playoff card. It should be embraced by Twista. He has really good cards he can acquire. Whats the point of him continueing to play if his RC Jordan is the best card. He wouldn't be able to upgrade his deck and it would only be a matter of time before he got bored and quit playing. This update was with vets like him in mind. Believe it or not

Don't get me wrong. Jordan should be the best card but it shouldn't have been the first Rival card. Since it was the only way to keep the game fresh for him was to give even better cards in future RC's. Just my opinion.

The point you're missing is playoff pros are now beating RC Pro (which only Twista has).

To get a RC Pro, it takes 60+ hours and $400+ (and that's each btw). To get a playoff pro, it'll take money, maybe $400+ but no time at all. On top of that, by spending the same $400, you're getting countless legendary and other playoff cards as well. To make matters worst, KD card was rewarded just 1 week ago and now is being easily beaten... do you honestly think the point total would be nearly as high for KD if playoff cards was announced then? There wasn't even an announcement of playoff cards when NW announce expansion of tiers... instead he LIED about the rewards (stating all the old rewards, which is now proven false).

Many others in the top 10, 25, 50, 125 probably spent more than $20 or even more than $100 to get their spot. If the new pack was announce, do you think they would've spent a dime? Most likely not since playoff card = KD RC (regular not pro). Its a smart business move by CD but its also a PR nightmare.

My one and only complaint is the past Rivals cards being useless now. If they would simply update the stats for 6 cards all of us vets would welcome the update.

Rivals cards really take a lot of effort during 6 consecutive days, you would suppose that their value would never be lost and CD would keep honouring them when they decide to upgrade this tier of cards.
It´s 6 friggin days, an insane amount of hours to have the chance to achieve those cards.

Please all those that are thinking about their collectible value... please think again, not with a 100 or 120 card deck limit or a catalog that disappears every day.

Now that all our very hard earned deck have lost value and anyone willing to waste a few bucks can destroy our effort of 6 months in just 5 minutes, is that hard to understand that Rivals cards should always be updated to honour the efforts of those who have supported this game since the very beggining?

I made a thread in the other place. All i can think of is not giving them any more money. Trying not to inflame the scores thus pushing others to spend money. Oh and twitter is amusing.

I'm surprised the rival events remained interesting to people after the first 2-3. Only 1 person even has the chance to get the pro. I worked for the duncan prolly 60-70 hours with no money and it barely topped the legend david robinson I got with him. Since, I play maybe 2-3 hours a day on each event and just get the epic pro. I think the rival cards were a joke to begin with. They should be better than legend pro's for the simple fact you cant just buy them.

Benitez are you going to play the tournament at all because seeing you play and all the other veteran such as you twista and ant125 and monarch420 keep me playing this crazy f**cked up app all I'm trying to say is that I love the competition yaw are now the only reason I play this game and twista please don't tell me you're retiring for good because seeing you play is another reason why I'm playing this crazy game and another reason I don't want you to retire having all these newcomers having a better team than you and I also enjoy yaw veterans fighting for the no.1 spot well if you and the other veterans is retire than I mine as retire to

This is the point a lot of people are just not seeing.
I've got a secret for you, keep this between us....... never try for an RC card ever again, because in 2 months you'll just be able to buy a new card that ****s all over it. All the time you spent trying to get it will be worthless. Shhhhhh, don't tell anyone........

Twista, RC cards are still the best cards right? So if you continued to get the number one spot, your new RC cards would still be better than any card someone can buy. If you continued your number one run, your V2 Rival pro cards would still be superior to other peoples Playoff cards. Your the one person that shouldn't be upset with the update. Right?

Correct, but we were told the Rivals cards would always be the best in the game. All of our past effort to get the Rivals cards is now wasted. They need to make Rivals Pro leveled to 45 and leave the Playoff cards at 40 and updgarde the past rivals cards to level 45, or whatever the Rivals Pro cards are now.

Its a free to play game. Its not free to make the game and keep servers up. And NW is a company. So ofcourse they try to make money. They don't do this as a hobby. Most people tgat respect a company are fine with contributing sone money. When an artist I like co mes out with a cd I don't burn it off my comp, a go to the store and buy a cd so the artist gets paid. They have made the gane more enjoyable at the same time as them making money off it. So I have no problem buying a couple leg packs or some hotstreak because I enjoy the game they put out. They aren't greedy just can't do this for free.

I was hoping for a new style event, the rivals clash is boring and tedious. Maybe there wouldnt be so much of an uproar had this been a new event altogether. I mean are we really gonna stay interested with a Rivals clash every 2 weeks til 2k15? Eventually there was going to be better cards than the past rivals cards but they shouldnt have been able to be bought outright or put in a week after. If they really wanted to milk people they should have released these playoff cards daily the way ultimate team does on madden lol.
