I can't tell. Look at the stats of his team mates. Melo can easily drive to the hole and kick out to someone that's open, because he draws multiple defenders. But does he NO. He'll rather try to force up shots and get mad at the refs when he doesn't get a call. And that's just one example. This is not Syracuse, one man can't win a Championship. LeBron nose is fine just broken, he'll still average 27/7/7 with a broken nose. MVP (And by the way they wear something called HELMETS in the NFL)

Drive and kick requires shooters. Knicks don't have shooters.

Also, that's not Melo's game. This is the kind of stuff I'm talking about when I say today's fans are unrealistic. How many pure scorers are also amazing passers? In the history of the league, VERY, VERY few. Just because Lebron can do it, doesn't mean it's to be expected of everyone. There's a reason everyone marvels and Lebron's passing ability. It isn't normal at all.

It's Felton's job to drive and kick. He's the point guard. When Melo gets a driving lane, as the team's best scorer (and the league's #2 scorer), entering scoring position, it's his job to score the ball or draw a foul. If there's a clear pass to be made to Tyson/Amare for a dunk, then he should make that, but driving and making difficult passes to terrible shooters isn't winning basketball.

Again, you look at Kobe, Jordan, Dr. J... There is HUGE value in elite wing scorers. That value is in their ability to get into the lane and finish/draw fouls. If the player and the team around him make it so that drive/kick is viable, then sure... but it isn't some essential strategy that MUST be done by any and all players.

The best shot you can take in basketball is a shot close to the basket. Passing that up so JR can hoist up a 3 is not smart.

Actually, Kevin Durant is making a very strong case for MVP this year. Unless Durant suddenly starts playing terrible/get injured for the rest of the year, I will be very surprised if he doesn't win MVP.

Or russel westbrook goes on a rampage and takes the ball out of durants hands too much.

Can our players even hit an open jumper? Felton misses all the shots, i would rather jr shoot contested jumpers than open ones he is weird, prigioni takes 10 seconds to shoot, shumpert shoots 37.7% for the season.

Yeah Copeland was awesome dude, he played no defense but his offense made up for it, instant offense. Haha Prigioni does take his sweet *** time.

And its not easy for him to drive to the rim being guarded by other teams best defender on nightly basis.

Its a damn nose!! He didnt tore his acl. I have broken my nose twice playing basketball took 5min break to stop the bleeding and got back in the game hit a game winning floater the first time. I even had to get surgery. And im never reaching again **** those steals cost me 7,000$.

Havent played ball since the surgery but i think my days of being a pest on the court is over. Gonna polish my jumper and shoot jumpers all the time. Maybe they will invite me to join the knicks since all they do is shoot jumpers

LeBron is guarded by the other teams best defenders as well. That's not an excuse. KD gets tripled team and he still able to get to the rim. You should try out you'll make the team. The Knicks front office is in desperation mode. They don't know what their future is going to look like. Maybe if the Knicks front office had a clear plan and vision they could bring in people like ray, battier, chalmers, etc.) But people to not want to play with Melo and if they did how come the Knicks haven't been able to sign a big time player to play next to Melo? Melo is a scorer, but he has to make an effort to get his team involved early. Not coming out taking 10-12 shots in the first quarter.

I dont see how the number of your points from the last game will be beaten though. Most of the "hardcore" players are already on this forum. So it will be similar except for all the people that dont want to do it again.
Oh and i got a little more time on my hands and will actually get competetive this time

If Melo REALLY wants to win, and is REALLY willing to take less money, Chicago is clearly the answer.

Rose/Butler/Melo/Gibson/Noah is a championship starting 5, and a lineup like that would attract free agents to play for the vet minimum just to back them up, and get a real shot at beating Miami (which I'm sure is motivation for a LOT of players).

This only works if Melo is willing to play for less than the max. If he wants max money, then Taj is out of there, but even that would still be very fearsome (though that puts more pressure on Rose to still be that guy).

Born and raised in Miami. Been through all the bad years. Never jump ship. Same with football and college football. Those people are not true HEAT fans and I'm glad they were not able to reenter the arena. Say what you want just don't make excuses when your team is not playing well. Tell it like it is.

No one is comparing lebron to melo because he is superior at every aspect (except jumpshot) of the game. His flop game is one of the best in league history.
