I have not spent a dime on the game and won the season 3 times with the same exact lineup only changing support cards

the season rewards arent that much better than before. it really only helps out the top end of the playoffs.

I won the championship once and made it to round 3 once. Other then that they have been 1st round or not at all. Lots of people don't dedicate lots of their free time to this game. Some go to work or school or both.

Yes, but coupled with improved matchmaking they will be much more attainable for all players. Up until now they have only been attainable through $$ or Rivals.

It doesn't take "lots" of free time to do well in a season. It takes 1-2 minutes of maintenance, every 3-4 hours or so.

And why do people believe they should be winning seasons and getting great rewards, if they don't wanna do even that little? I really don't get it. If I were to invest zero time and energy into something, I wouldn't expect to win. I DO invest some level of time/money into this game, and I still don't expect to win.

It doesn't take "lots" of free time to do well in a season. It takes 1-2 minutes of maintenance, every 3-4 hours or so.

And why do people believe they should be winning seasons and getting great rewards, if they don't wanna do even that little? I really don't get it. If I were to invest zero time and energy into something, I wouldn't expect to win. I DO invest some level of time/money into this game, and I still don't expect to win.

I literally said nothing about expecting good rewards for little effort.

Secondly it is very hard to manage energy without energy cards, the way you get those is buy them or pull them. In order to pull them you have to do what you ask? Play games? Sounds about right, games take time to play. You do not get an energy card every game you play so you could be looking at a lot of games. Not sure how you get a 1-2 minutes every couple hours but that is clearly a blatantly false statement. If you found a way to get free energy cards please share, if not your statement holds no weight and is just wrong.

you've been fortunate, because after winning my first 2 seasons every season there has been at least 2 competitors that have atleast 1500/2k higher stats once you start that new season which means unless they tank or completely stop recharging the best you can do is get to the semi's... Cd has hooked you up because you would have had to improve your line up beyond your epic rewards. The better you become the better your competition is you've been fortunate to get into seasons that didn't have twista, adil, ant 125 or someone who would roll right thru if charged up...

I don't use energy. I energize once per series in the playoffs generally. Any other time in the season, I just swap in my bench. Takes 1-2 minutes every 3-4 hours.

And if you don't care about people who don't try, not getting good rewards, how are the new rewards problematic in any way? Round 3 gets an Epic. If you can't get to Round 3 sometimes, you're just not trying.

Just to be clear about Energy cards. You collect an Energy card for every win if you're under the 10 Energy card cap. If you're over the 10 card cap then you can go above the cap by pulling the Energy reset card on the draft board only, and you do not collect the free Energy card. If you're using a lot of energy during a Season then you can play 10 Quick Games after using up all your Energy cards and quickly replenish your Energy cards ready for your next Season game.
