Oh, right, the onboard GPU thing. And cheaper? shows how much I know about PC hardware these days - I'm remembering a time where Xeon's came at a significant premium cost wise.

The "Run as Administrator" didn't seem to do much for me, but going in to Task Manager and setting the priority of NBA 2K15 to either High or Above Normal (recommended by someone over at NLSC) worked great. Everything's been much smooth since.

Regardless of what works for whom though, I hope there is some optimization in the works.
THIS TASK MANAGER THING SAVED MY LIFE!!! Goodbye Micro stuttering .. thanks a lot!!!

When I do this it freezes the game. I open the game, open task manager, set CPU priority to above normal, tab back to game and the controller doesn't work and I can't do anything.

Ok, it works if I do it when I open the game and set it to above normal. How do you get it to save or do you have to do it every time?

By default, you have to set it every time. However, I downloaded this program which allows you to save priority (amongst other features):

How to permanently save a process priority. How to enable silent elevation for a process.

Here's my setup I built earlier this year:

                Intel i5-4670k 3.4GHz
                8GB DDR3 RAM
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 2GB - Overclocked Edition
Also running on Windows 8.1 OEM.

This game has given no fault, great FPS, gameplay is amazing. So glad they brought NextGen graphics.

I'm running a 780Ti SC with a 3770k at 4.7. Haven't checked FRAPS but with everything totally maxed out it runs perfectly.

I bought the 760 and framewise it was ok for this game, probably would have exceeded my expectations, but for 229 dollars? Nah I just upgraded (preordered) to the 970. Hoping amd doesn't release a card that will bite me in the ***. If so, I'll just get another one of these cards and sli this badboy.

The 390(x) sounds like a beast if the rumors hold true. I've been holding off switching and ordering a 970 to see what AMD's new offering will be early in the year. In any case, technology will keep moving so there will always be something better around the corner.
                          PS: You guys are great.

My ex is paying for my 970 as a gift for treating me like crap lol.

So yeah I can hold off. Now.

But yeah if the rumor holds true, Its going to be a beast of a card especially for the price. Sounds like it'll turn 970 to midrange lol.

a larger bitbus? Man...Its going to be smooth. I read a rumor that they won't release until fiscal Q2 which is like april to june-ish. thats a long time to wait for a card.

FYI none of my hardware is overclocked

I have a 970 and a corei5 4670 and get 60 fps with everything on high at 1440p. Do sense some micro-stutters tho
