I hope live 07 is either VERY BAD (like a 5.5 in gamespot) or VERY GOOD (like 8.8 or more). VERY BAD in a sense that live 08 will most likely be improved and revamped. EA needs a slap in the face.

if it's VERY GOOD, then I guess all my worries about live 07 being absolute trash are wrong, and EA has managed to bring back Live from its glory days. *unlikely scenario*.

I wouldn't want live to have an average score (7.0-7.9) because this would make some gamers STILL buy the game since its Live. EA still seeing the cash flow in, will release another half-assed effort for live 08 because FANBOYS WILL STILL BUY IT ANYWAYS!

I hope there's a demo soon. I think 2K could be brought up to acceptable with sliders but I'm leaning towards Live again after playing that demo.

I wouldn't be holding your breath for a demo goh... my sources tell me that the game isn't finished... so I doubt they'll release a demo. If they do, then that's great... but I wouldn't look for it soon.

I think EA has way more to loose by putting out more video. its obvious the game animates terribly in comparison to whats being shown by 2k7. EA knows that live will sell so why make its deficiencies more obvious before release? Looking at the latest live OS videos posted makes me laugh. Im just glad the NBA opted not to go exclusive. EA will have to develop live if they want to surpass NBA2k. sad part is sales will probaly surpass it regaurdless

NBA LIVE hasn't been fun since NBA LIVE 2004 dropped. That was the last decent Live game period. NBA LIVE 2005 was a gimmick most people bought it just because of allstar weekend. The game was pretty much the same and the turbo spin move was so powerful it made playing online a chore. That and absolutely no fast break what-so-ever.


NBA LIVE 2006 was also a gimmick EA sports bamboozled me 2 straight years. Everytime NBA LIVE comes out it's this new "cool feature" that is suppose to change the way you play basketball videogames, but it ends up being cheap....poorly done...or both.


I started out a huge fan of EA sports games but they got progressively worse. I've also been a fan of 2ksports/VC since the Dreamcast days and they only screwed me over once. That was with ESPN Basketball in 2004 that game was not good. They rebounded with 2k5 and took over the basketball videogame world with 2k6.

So from now on I will not buy any NBA LIVE videogames. Even when a decent one comes out they will still be too far behind 2ksports for me to even be interested.

I dont think EA is crazy enough to release after 2ksports releases 2k7... I think they know they will lose to much money if they release after 2k7..

EA is all about the money, I can say this with the utmost confidence, this game will be out at the same time as 2k7...

What does posting in a thread have anything to do with what I said. I come over here just to see whats going on I browse alot of boards and I see this thread and posted. What's the big deal about that? The thread title is on point this forum is dead while the 2k forum has 40-50 people viewing all the time. 2ksports obviously has EA shook when it comes to basketball they not showing anything and what they have showed has been utter garbage.

I just finished watching some NBA LIVE 2007 clips for ps2 and it looks horrid. Anybody that plunk down money for that would be an idiot.
