I'm a huge 2k fan and haven't bought a Live game since 2003 or 2004 but I love the demo. I will definitely be buying Live on 10/02 along with 2k8. I don't understand the complaints about the animations. I think the Live players move in a very realistic way. My only complaint is the passing mechanics and the lack of solid basket defense by the bigs.

The demo made it a buy...even though I was already itching to buy it. this just sealed the deal. I really like the demo..
After playing it about 43 times...it grows on you....I can see myself playing a full Dynasty without frustration.Comment

Re: Is the Live Demo enough to make you wanna buy it?
Definitely.
Note that the Demo was an EARLIER BUILD and many, if not most, of the bugs have probably been ironed for the final release version. Also with SLIDER ADJUSTMENTS.....this might also correct any other areas that one might want to improve on.
I was most concerned about the gameplay and the "smoothness" of the game.....and EA did a great job addressing these 2 issues.
Also props to EA for giving basketball fans a FRESH game. I'm tired of the same 'ole "repacked" crap from 2K every year. Looking at the 2K8 trailer videos.....it's basically 2K7 with minor tweaks and additions. It's still going to be a "dunkfest" and graphically....it doesn't even deserve to be labeled a "Next Gen" game.Comment

Re: Is the Live Demo enough to make you wanna buy it?
I like the demo and I'm definitely gonna pick it up despite the horrible animations. I love the atmosphere and commentary. Dynasty seems like it will be fun to run this year. 2K's demo will make me decide when I wanna pick it up tho.http://twitter.com/sageinfinite

Having Gilbert Arenas (a HUGE 2k guy) is also a big positive because he can open their eyes to some of the things that he likes/dislikes about both games.Comment

Re: Is the Live Demo enough to make you wanna buy it?
After how I've felt about Live for the past 7 years, its going to take about 20 known OS "Live Haters" saying this is a great game(not just an ok game) for me to even think about buying Live.Jordan Mychal Lemos

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.
Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.Comment
