Thanks for the info...here are my questions:

1. Ball Trajectory - Did the ball have a more realistic look and feel in the air. Last year it often looked and felt like a magnet warping from hand to hand. Also, how did the ball interact with the rim?

2. Dunks - would players momentarily grab the rim or did the dunk animations still almost have that look as if it was missing a frame in animation???

3. Defense - Can Defensive players continually swipe, swipe, swipe at the balll until they knock it loos without very little risk of fouls???

4. Shot Variety - any bank shots or different looking shots that interplay with the basket/rim???

5. Rebounding - were there any instances when you felt like the rebounding system looked good or seemed improved. Also what was going on with rebounds after a misssed FT attempt???

6. Passing - Can I determine the type of pass I want to throw or is it all random???

7. Fatigue - will it be in the game???...Particularly ONLINE PLay

Does the ball go in the hoop without a hitch which has plagued Live since their next-generation debut?

Covered this already; Still has some issues but it could be from the incomplete build I played.

-In live 09 did they get rid of all the old shoes from previous years

-In live 09 did they add a little more to the jumbotron and the ribbon board, rather than just the players name or that blue and red EAsports logo, because its been the same ever since live 06 and I feel that doing something different like adding more colors or (American flag, Go Team Go etc.) would make the arena feel much more complete...much like how NHL 08/NBA 2K8 is.

I know you played human vs human but did you notice any difference between the teams? Fast breaking teams with faster tempo, half court teams playing slower etc

Hard to judge i know but i'm talking about what the cpu teamates were doing, not so much the other human controlled players.

Any playcalling going on? Any word on diagrams on the floor ala 2k8?

Still too difficult to tell in H2H.

Diagrams are both on the floor and with an icon that appears above their head. It definitely was not intrusive and worked very well.

Play-call diagrams came straight from Live...were they not in 08? I didn't play it (for good reason).

Are there blocks in the game where the shots are pinned against the glass or are they all swat or straight up blocks?

As far as the new ballhandling mechanism is concerned, do different players handle the ball differently? Like can you tell the difference between McGrady and Kobe?

How editable are the players?

For the pick-and-roll control can you control whether the man setting the pick rolls to the basket or whether he pops out for a catch-and-shoot?

Do you know anything about the draft in Dynasty mode?

Didn't see blocks against the glass.

If you're asking about player specific dribbling, I didn't see any.

Didn't see the edit a player mode.

Yes you can control the PnR. Hold to pop out, let go to roll. Very nice once you get the hang of it. Difficult at first.

Didn't get much time with the dynasty (or any other modes outside of FIBA); My focus was on the court as that was more important, IMO, to even make sure if the game was worth giving a shot. That's a yes, BTW.

1. Ball physics are better. Still a bit floaty on shots but I was told they knew that and were going to address it.

2. Dunks looked good. I remember this two handed jam I did with D. Howard were it looked like he grabbed the rim "with authority!"

3. Not if the foul sliders get turned up. There's also a risk-reward as swipes will continually put you out of position by someone who knows how to control the new dribbling system.

4. Not from what I saw.

5. No issues w/ rebounding after FT's. Guys were certainly going for the ball but I still think it needed improvement. Again, I want guys going after the ball with intent.

6. Passing was contextual.

7. Read the article for more on fatigue.

No sig dunks that I noticed. That's not say they aren't there. I didn't ask for them. Gotta walk before you can run...

Not sure about the FIBA teams. Roster editing and such just was not there yet in the build we played.

The dunks weren't flashy at all; They fit well aside from one or two that I saw. In fact, it wasn't easy to force up a dunk in traffic. Not to say it could be better but I wasn't throwing it down on guys at will. I also don't play that way though... All dunks were contextual.

Does the developer dictate where the ball goes based off of animation or is it separate from the player/ball like in Fifa?

Question on the offensive side of the ball:

BASELINE: Last year you could abuse the baseline by almost just walking right around a player…sometimes appearing to be out of bounds…Then just go up for a dunk…Is the baseline still a problem???

POST MOVES: last year you could body up and execute a “money spin move” that almost always would result in a dunk…Defensively is it still easy to bang down low and just do a spin move into a dunk???

Spin Moves: In 08 many players who exploited the game would simply execute multiple spin moves and crossovers until they got close to the bucket then take Kobe or almost any other star or mediocre player up for a monster dunk…Are those days over?, toned down or is it more about realistic execution of moves as opposed to just mindless chaining together of spins and crossovers???

It's not like Fifa... doesn't need to be really, just work well in the context of the game.

Address it by making it less floaty. Duh.

Didn't know about the baseline exploit last year so I wasn't looking for it.

The "money" spin move can be countered by the new defense. It's still a risk-reward system so if you guess incorrectly they still get a bit too open for a close shot.

Can't do multiple spin moves, from what I saw. The new new defense allows you to layoff and keep your defender in front of you, but gives the offensive player more room for a jumper.
