Actually mate, Beluba specifically requested that people post as many late game AI flaws as possible.

So, we can ask more...we could have tried to give him what he wanted / asked for.

It's amazing that a producer asks people to post...and yet the thread was closed. A lost opportunity.

Yes, that's one reason this thread is here, but the other thread created, he noted what was said there by Pared and L4D. I think i mentioned that too. There was no lost opportunity.

Improve the visuals.

This has probably already been mentioned but, Live kinda fell off in the graphics department this year.

Live10 needs:

-arena specific lighting (no more dark arenas for every team in the game)

-better player faces

-and 'obviously' a BOAT LOAD of new and more realistic animations

You guys really need to go all out with signature styles and animations. Bring this game alive and make it the total package from a visual and animation standpoint.

I also would like to see the calf sleeves redone, they have been pretty bad for the last few years now.

On a side note, please fix the cpu controlled rotations. I think I have mentioned the horrible sub rotations, in every post I have made in this thread.

But, the way it is currently done is beyond terrible. Allow the user to set the MPG for each team.

Not sure if any of this stuff was mentioned or not, but I really dont want to read through 19 pages.... LOL...

But here is a sample of my wishlist for 2010...

- Players being subbed in need to wait at the Scorers table (2k)
- Signature style crossovers/passes/spins
- More sign style Jumpers
- Better variety of Dunks (just dont overdue it with between the legs crap)
- A button to shoot jumpers off the glass ala 2k
- Move the Post up button to one of the shoulder buttons (It just feels Better)
- Wider Variety of Plays - add to the number of plays the user has available in game (16 insted of 8)
- Bigger/Better Variety of Layups use the glass/backboard more
- More Low post moves and shots
- A Rundown of the Replay games with descriptions of why they were made Replay games
- Please at Tip Ins, and Dunk Tips
- Signature Arena Sounds
- An NBA Live beat creator - the user can put custom sounds in for certain situations
- Fix Fastbreaking
- Fix Ball Rim Physics

Few More but I cant think of them right now.. Will post more later..

even tho this is a gameplay thread, i don't want to start a whole thread for this request. can finally get career stats where we get player cards with their season by season stats and accomplishments and career totals with record books

I have just recently made the jump to Live after being an avid 2K supporter. The DNA and Player Physics in Live are SICK and it makes teh gameplay realistic and an A.The only additions id like to see (im sure most others too) are:

Upgraded Player Animations:Better Player models,More Layups Dunks signature shots, and dribble moves.

Better Defensive Controls:More capablities on D,make Defense matter,allow the artests and bowens of the league to be able to be lock down defenders or something.

Live took a HUGE step in the right direction this year. With Mike Wang the head developer for Live 2010, i see and expect nothing but positives from this title.If they just brushed up on their animations and only made minor tweaks to the gameplay Live could have a gem and take 2K's thrown.

Here are a few things. Listen up EA:

Pick and Roll:
- give us settings in the coaches menu. allow us to trap, switch, double team, go under the screen, fight through it with a hedge, etc. let us determine what our team does.
- let's get some splitting the pick and roll animations

Passing:
- improve the passing tremendously.
- add interior passing animations.
- add handoffs

Shooting:
- more sig shots
- sig dunks
- more contact animations inside

Misc:
- signature dribbling packages
- more guys crashing the boards on rebounds
- all new ball/rim/net physics


Thats all for now.

Fix the physics on loose balls. Nobody goes after loose balls. If a shot is missed or air balled or bounces off someone and is free, no one grabs or goes after it. Needs to be fixed.

good idea:

Online:
Live 2010 would have the option to create a Basketball player like nba inside (or TopsSpin 3 tennis players) but with more skills.

And then 1 on 1 rooms , 3 on 3 rooms could be made.
3 on 3 rooms : 6 online players created with his own skills.

Wining points to improve your player depending on your gameplay style, this is: If you attempt 2 much 3 point shots then this skill will be upgraded more or less depending on your 3pt shots made,
If you make passes or steals, etc,...

I think it would be GREAT.

My understanding is that it is a code issue so it cant be patched.

- Add a shotstick like 2k has. I love shooting like that
- Make sure that non stars aren't double teamed in the post so that a shooter is only open in the wing sometimes.

it can't be patched for 09, but it is already fixed for '10.

A lot of people play with a PF or SF like PG.

It could be fixed if one player only can to play in his 1st or 2nd position, that is, the substitution players list only would have the players who can to play in the position to be substituted.

Another key area that needs fixing: I want more runners/floaters. When inside, shooting a normal jumpshot in real life would result in getting blocked. So why can we do this in the game? Add some floaters and runners, not just go-to moves, but basic ones.
