Players always run back after you shoot...and it seems even having 1 player back there is enough to 'discourage' the CPU from fastbreaking most times.

That one guy, if he gets in their road, seems to kick the AI in for them to stop their break and set up a play.

Hopefully fixable with sliders or a patch? As the half court game is outstanding. It's a shame the full court game is lacking.

At the moment, IMO there's a lot of basketball strategy missing.

Example: I set my team to 'crash boards"...i shoot a corner three, i miss. The CPU gets the board. The CPU basically has an open court to punish me in right now. My PF and C have gone for the ORB, my wingman is deep in the corner. That leaves the CPU with everyone moving forward and me out of position all over.

But the CPU still walks it up most of the time and gets ready to run a half court play

It's better than last season, but the fastbreak logic is very poor in this game.

In the half court though.........this game is sweeeeeet

It's hit and miss...people will need to decide if the pros outweigh the cons

What team are you playing? Try that with the Suns and come back and give your results.

They play fast...so it's a big step up from last season

However, they don't really fastbreak aggressively at the hoop...they do play fast and go to the corners for quick 3 balls etc.

Example: You miss v the Knicks...they'll bring it up quick. Most of the time though the wingmen will go to the corners for a 3 ball though / won't really attack the hoop unless the lane is completely clear.

If they have a 2 on 1...you'll be able to stop them just by that one guy being back there. His presence alone is enough to deter them attacking the hoop.

Cool...will try the Suns later today.

Maybe if they attack properly, all we need to do is change some settings etc?

The half court game is sooooooooooo sweet. If the fullcourt game can be fixed, this game will be a beast.

Well at least its an improvement over last year maybe as DNA updates guys will start to attack in different ways on the break. Though it may not happen because the game is using DNA from last year but you never know.

Lol man these stats are just crazy I think people are going to have to sim multiple years before they can say the engine is busted.

Sounds good to me. Is there a way to turn off CPU trades and injuries in Dynasty mode?

stephensonmc, I just want to let you know that the framerate problem hasn't really resurfaced since the first few times that I had played it. Only minor hiccups, here and there, like occasionally on rebounds and inbounds passes, as well as during most replays. Not really a big deal anymore, as long as the initial problems don't pop up again.

Another gripe is catching the ball out of bounds. I just did this 5 times against the Wiz during my 5th regular season game with the Cavs. I ended up losing by 4 points, which had me pretty livid. LOL. Also, the AI holding the ball at the top of the three point arc happens about 4-5 times during a game.

Post-up doesn't always work when I want it to either, resulting in a TO (I know this will be included in the patch). Other then these minor gripes, I am loving this game...FOR REAL! I play on All-Star w/ 10 minute quarters and get spot-on stats for my players. Again, LOVIN' this game, and whenever the patch is released, that should make the experience damn near perfect for me!

I'll just give you my impressions from playing against the Suns using the Hawks. They do fastbreak and Nash finds the open man. What you said about their being a 2 on 1 and you have 1 guy back and they do nothing I have yet to experience. And just so you know, fastbreaks doesn't mean you pass everytime. A player can push the ball up the court and pull up for a quick J, that's a fastbreak. It's not just about 2 on 1's and 3 on 2's being developed.

I do know what a fastbreak is bro

Yes, pulling up for a 3 is well done / pull up J is well done.

The 2 on 1 / 3 on 1 stuff isn't.

I can't be more honest than that. If anyone wants to post some vids of 3 on 1 CPU fast breaks, please do so.
