Never. Not once.
Even when I have two guys blocking their path...the CPU players try and go straight back up. (Giving me easy an easy block).
Anderson Vajero grabs an ORB off a LeBron miss...I have three guys around him, he has LeBron and all their shooters open on the perimiter if he wants to pass to them...but no, he goes back up. Always. Every time.
Playmakers claims there's not even any code in the game to do anything else...the CPU is simply coded to go right back up.
This kills the flow of a basketball game as there's no re-setting the offense...there's no prolonged periods of defense. It's all "one and done" ...shot, put back or block. Every time.
Late in the game...3 points down...CPU shoots a three ball...grabs an ORB...they need a kick out as they need a three to tie the game...they go right back up for the two. Game over. They lose.
It's horrible AI...the type of stuff that was in basketball games in 2002.
However............there's some posters here who maintain they see the CPU grab ORBs and kick out all the time.
I've asked a lot of people I know well who have played the game a lot and they've never seen this happen. I've spoken to a lot of guys here who've never seen it either.
But some guys claim they see it all the time.

Can we get some sort of clarification if this type of AI is even in the game? If so, what sliders will bring it out?
At the moment, it is terrible. Moronic stuff. So, if it's easily fixed...that would be a good thing.
