I'm gonna eat first and read some more feedbacks before I go get it. So far what from I've heard about the game, The positives outweighs the negatives to me.

      FROM MOSSFAN

here's the deal. I couldn't save it for some reason after I clicked to start the offseason(I don't know how to navigate the menus to well yet) I then clicked free agency and pressed start to sim past it. KG, Ray, etc all seem to be on their teams. Only people I notice are Kenyon Martin who is still in free agency after 5 games(LOL I guess none wants to give him big money) and Alen Iverson who signed with Portland.

Ok I just checked it out. WHat I did was go to fre agency and then press start. All big ticker players stayed with their respective teams except K Mart and AI. AI went to Portland(LOL good fit with Wallace) and K Mart got sined after 3 games to Portland as well LOL....I guess he wants a championship

Am I the only one who saw the same thing happen in Live 2003 and Live 2002? Clearly this isn't a bug, it has been a persistent problem within the Live series. I haven't owned either game but played some multiplayer franchises with friends. Everyone is acting like this is some freak thing that just started happening, but if you played franchises in previous Live games this whole "bug" is quite familiar. The major problem in this game is the fact that after one year pretty much every team is way the hell over the cap, only allowing you to resign your players (if they want to stay) and draft new ones.

Interesting how I already mentioned this, but in a thread of this size too many posts get lost in the shuffle (why I hate stickies with a passion).

I've been following this thread through and through, but I can't really remember if anything like this has been posted.

Anyhow, the problem, as I see it, lies within the point system. Iverson is almost always a free agent after season # 1. Why? Well, because Philly's points available prior to the season are -535,501. They are unable to sign him afterwards because they don't have the cash. Now, I know you can resign your own players while exceeding this limit, but I don't think that "registers" for the computer. I think it just looks at the points available, etc.

Another contributing factor to this is that the salaries are way out of whack. For instance, kenny Thomas has a 7-year, 300,000 point contract...while Iverson makes just under that amount. How is that possible?

Well, I'm confident that we'll find some way around this. Just not quite sure how yet.
