To me its not so much about the severity of the "bug" or "glitch".
its the fact that you dish out your hard earned money for something thats broken and the company takes no responsibility for it. its about making a stand as a consumer, and letting them know with your wallet thats your not satisfied with a rushed/broken product.
This happened with Madden, even after they knew about the draft class problem, they still didn't release a statement or recall the games...people were still buying broken games, and it was up to the consumer to send in there page and get a working game. but still, even with great competition, EA dominates sales-wise because consumers dont make a stand. its un-excusable for this problem to occur, for those that want a realestic dynasty mode, the FA period is the most important part of the dynasty, keeping the league balance and watching superstars progress. from everything ive been reading on this issue (thank god somebody spoke up so i wouldn't again get suckered into dishing out $50 for another broken EA product) superstar players skip around from team to team signing for the league minimum, in some cases there can be 2-3 superstars sitting in the FA pool without getting signed all season. thats not a greatly improved dynasty as they promised, thats a broken dynasty. and i doubt I.D. or ESPN will be stupid enough to release there product with this kinda bug. its sad because growing up, i was loyal to EA, but with every release like this, i grow more and more sour towards them. i had one of those ncaa'2003 copies that froze on load screens and in games....and all players ratings went to "36" upon editing anybody's ratings... a madden 2004 copy that couldn't import draft class (had to wait 6 weeks to go to my next season in my franchise, now this?) luckily people found this quick.
Thanks to those about getting the word out. EA doesn't deserve our money for a broken game.
you'd think they'd learn from there mistakes over the last 2 years on other releases.
its sad because they got loyalists like somiss and others who will spend multiple hrs on a message board trying to work around the problem, and do some tedious-time consuming, roster editing after every season to keep the league balance....but on the other hand saying its no big deal, when that could of been time playing the game. (i used to be the same way)
when it all comes down to it, to each their own.
