Let the game come out when it's ready, those who believe it's still "Elite" can believe it if they choose.

So the moral of the story is: don't criticize what you've seen, just hope that it gets better later on.

For the guys who have said just wait till you see it and then judge, what has EA done in the last few years that gives us any indication the series has turned the corner?. Added to that several gamers went along to EA HQ to witness the game in action ,but none of us have heard a peep out of any of these guys about what they thought, their concerns and what the rest of us can expect and to top it off we had those guys who got a look at e3 and said that the game was a mess .

            Two questions:

Is there still an embargo on the guys that represented through the advisory council not to share info?

With only a few months till release why have we only seen a handful of screenshots, surely a game in development for this length of time would have gameplay footage that could be shown.

What the hell is going on EA? I would love to play another decent Live game, used to love the series but just give us something...

I like the suspense, personally. In the past EA has overhyped their upcoming nba game and left people disappointed. I hope they wait another month to release any detailed information.

Measuring the progress of the game versus when they put the team together is one thing. Supposedly. And that's fine. But even if that's true, don't you think you should be asking yourself one question:

Why did it take them more than a year to put a team together?

The devs spent a year trying to build a team & having Kumbaya, Gregorian chant and tealight meetings in the hallwalls of Tiburons as quoted here:

..developer huddles breaking out in the hallways of the Tiburon offices at least once per day, and often more frequently than that.

All in all though, it falls on them...

I read it's because they wanted to build a team that was actually dedicated to the game of basketball and knew the sport.

It makes sense cause i mean they could of went out and got some of the top programmers in the country if they wanted to; they're EAsports. But they took the time to make sure they put together a solid team that was all on the same page.

HA, no way i'm believing that, EA screwing themselves, who takes two years to put a tem together, they must have been studying the other company hard as well as trying to put together a dedicated team!

I don't understand you guys. You want a quality game but you EA to pick people fast so they can have people that know nothing about basketball to make the game. Not just you but a lot of people are contradicting themself.

Explain to me what have we seen? Hm? Have we seen a minuet of NBA Live 13? If you want to look to the last game we should be hopeful because NBA Live 10 was a step in the right direction LOL this sub-fourm is comical.

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't already 80% sure I was going to buy this game. I'm a huge EA guy and once NBA Live left I never picked up a 2K game.

I turned as giddy as a school girl once he said they had something special planned for playbooks. Can you honestly imagine calling a time out and getting the full 30 to call up a quick play at the end of the game?? How sick would that be? Even if we don't get that and still get the option to draw up our own plays in like a coach's playbook thing and get to implement them into a playbook and attach the play signals like he said would be in the game would be sick.

Yeah I'm excited Live is back. Usually I get 2 sports games a year. I always get FIFA and either NCAA or Madden. This year I might be getting just Madden and Live.

You got to understand something though - in the industry, the ONLY think EA has going for them in terms of attracting talent is compensation. Devs that have a choice and don't care about the money as much actually AVOID that place. On the whole, that is...
