LOL! Yeah right! You wouldn't have even come close to doing that. No one would. You don't spit in their face for the opportunity to see development and give direct input.

Can we get that for the Madden team too?

Will you guys be there long enough to really listen or will you be replaced whenever Live 13 drops and sales arent near Facebreaker numbers?

It seems this is what has been going on at EA when you say you're listening to "us".
To be fair, you're dealing with Tiburon now. Not EAC. May be different now.

The only way EA will get anyone to buy Live 13 after 2K comes out, is if 2K is a colossal failure (unlikely).

Ok, here's the start: Animations, Animations, Animations

That should be your core and main focus before you even think of anything else.
The faces are great for the most part. But your animations are not fluid. The players don't move naturally.

Even in the Sizzle trailer, I believe it was Dwyane Wade. He kind of "sprung" to the basket. Like a rocket. It's not a natural motion.

I don't know who does your mo-capping but why is everything so stiff? Can you shed any light on this?

All that ANT technology is useless if your animations don't look right. FIFA is an incredible game. But the fundamentals are right first. Then everything layered on top of that comes into place.

If you guys rounded up a bunch of OSers and brought them in..I guarantee you it would be more beneficial than those Advisory Council members you brought in.

or they release it on ps vita, it already looks like a handheld game, just go ahead and port it, they will get people to buy it cause the other company didnt release a ps vita version, just a stupid psp version, ridiculous!

I have 0 faith in EA as a company in general. They are yet to make a decent football game on the next gen consoles, Fifa & NHL are their only 2 decent games. They have no idea what direction they are going. They make things that look nice when they get someone to take a screenshot at the perfect replay angle but look ugly when you actually play the real game.

I don't think either Wade dunk had bad animations as far as the gather and launch. The issue with me is the rim sound and the lack of interaction with the rim and hand on both. Same with the Westbrook dunk.

The best rim interaction with hands is the Rudy Gay dunk.

The Rondo gather on the layup, there's definitely something funky there. Hitch in his giddyup or something. Doesn't look natural at all.

I'm tired of the over-exaggerated hesi dribble by Irving and Nelson.

The other thing that takes away from a lot of these animations, is the lack of fluidity in the hands. Tired of seeing the open hand on tons of these screens/vids. Fingers wrapping around the rim, hand not wrapping around the ball, off-hand fully open on dribble and/or Kobe's hitting his chest. Just doesn't look good to me. May be picky, but it's the little nuances that take away from the natural feel of the game.

The suits don't construct player models, write code, or direct mocap shoots...

While I agree that animations are very high on the list (i.e. signature animations) I believe player models are more important. We started with faces, next should be to get every player on the court to look like they do in real life. Then on to your sentiment, act and move like they do in real life.

Don't agree with that. At the very core of what you're doing is trying to recreate the game of basketball, if the game doesn't look and move like basketball then it's a failure. The fundamentals need to be right first, then you can focus on things like that.
