owner mode
better graphics
get rid of double team lose ball animation
fix block shots animation and glitches
more layups and better manual change shot animation
do not make it any more arcadey it's perfect how it is as far as gameplay
get rid of skating
more mid range game
just improve on what's good on the game without changing the game all around.Comment

KEEP the double teamanimation but it needs refining:
As a defender you need to be able to LEAVE the double team at any time.
On offense you need to be able to pump fake or fadeaway out of a double team (rather than the generic "heave" animation.
Better and more "change shot" animations (take cue from STREET2), the old up and under jordan style would be nice, perhaps even the ability to freestyle your layup aroudn the defender in mid air (or am I going too far?).
Need the ability to call for a screens as the offball player.
Obviously the "skating".
Maybe a "one timer" touch pass?
Tone down the "follow through" animations on layups that prevent you from even attempting to rebound your own shots.
OVERALL:
Face graphics need work.
Small tweaks to gameplay but keep the "tone" of 2004 as it's great fun to play right now.Comment

allow shooter to follow his shot, if I put some junk up I should be able to immediately follow it up, maybe the ability to do this would be dependent on the players rebounding or awareness?
Make bad defensive teams play bad defense. Right now the Mavs play great defense and that shouldn't be. They shouldn't have as quick rotations as the great defensive teams. They are lightning quick in zone defense. Too quick.
Make defense pay the price for playing zone. Zone can be good and can be bad, While playing zone the offensive teams chances of getting an offensive rebound should be much higher b/c that is one of the disadvantages of playing zone.
Make players run correct fast breaks. Most of the fastbreaks now are effective but they are usually just 1 guy sprinting down the court and making the layup or dunk. They should run their lanes, ballhandler in the middle and either a player streaking to the left or right of him, and the guy running with him should cut to the hoop, not trail off into a playset.
limit the double teaming, It is a nice addition but happens way too much. You don't see all that many double teams in an nba game, not where they collapse on a player to the point where he can't move.
I know this probally won't be done but, the court seems a bit small, a shot is either in the paint or near the 3pt line, doesn't seem to be much room for mid-range stuff most of the time.
Different post up shots for different players, not every post player does the short hook. Need some more up and under moves.
New shooting animations, the main jumpshot looks good. What happened to the big man jumper from last year?? I remember, Mashburn, Van Horn and a few other players had it. Get rid of the "quick shot" animation where the guy short arms it and throws off the side of his head lol.Comment

i gave up playing this game months ago because every time i went to cross someone over it would turn my player around so he would dribble out of bounds.
