Re: Wish list NBA live series
In the next years series please:
1) have a contest the shot rating or have defensive awareness determine how well someone contests a midrange shot, and then let jumping and block ratings take into effect strongly on the inside.
2) have the computer use some freestyle moves like the triple threat, which is used multiple times on every nba possesion in the NBA.
3) have off the ball fouls with maybe an off the ball foul slider. (In the real NBA there are tons of off the ball fouls; maybe you guys can create a foul prone rating for the players also)
4) make the 3 point line further out like in real life, (the line looks like the college 3 point line)
5) Have specific player ai like inside drive or at least have the players play to their strengths in ratings.Comment

Re: Wish list NBA live series
"No-shot" shooting foul animations
Add animations of "no-shot" shooting fouls. These are the so called shots where there isn't really any kind of shot but the player is in the act of shooting so he gets FTs. No shot attempt is marked in the stats.
And make these fouls frequent cause you should see "no-shots" 6-15 times every game.
Make the pro hop less money play like
This might've been posted already but anyway, there it is. A pro hop effectiveness slider maybe? Tone it down anyway.Comment

Re: I just have one simple suggestion
-wider court, everything seems to compact and jumbled up.
-redo dynasty mode completely...Redo the draft, free agent signings, the whole thing.
-better graphics, simply Lives graphics can't compare to Espn's.
-get rid of the slide effect
-better fastbreak logic
-more jump shot animations
-more post up moves
-tighter ball physics, more variety of bounces off the rim, more long rebounds and awkward bounces.
-more dunks
-better passing logic(i.e. lobs, bounce passes, bullet passes, dare i say.......lead passes)
-top pg's like Kidd, Marbury, Davis, should be able to throw fancy passes every now and again, like a half court bounce pass(like the kind Raymond Felton threw to Noel in UNC's loss to GT in the ACC tourney).
-PG should come back to the ball after a PF or C rebounds it, im sick of seeing Mutumbo get a rebound and dribble to half court before the pg comes and gets the ball from him. The only time this shouldnt happen is when a PF like Antoine Walker gets it, someone who can actually handle the rock.
-ability to create mismatches with mobile big men. A much slower big man shouldn't be able to play tight in your face D against a quickter big guy(like Walker) at the 3 point line with no help.
-offense too slow to get back after they secure a rebound
-blocked dunk logic is kinda sketchy. I like that you can block dunks but the logic is a bit off. Say I have Elton Brand going up for a dunk while Yao is in the lane. Ok if Yao is coming from Eltons right side, Elton should go up for a lefty dunk. In live he goes up with his right hand and gets it thrown back. Also guys get wayyyyy too high when blocking dunks, it's like their whole torso is above the rim.
-also i'd like to see more power post up moves(and i dont mean dunks)
-better execution of back door cuts and lob plays.
-seperate rating for spot up shooting and shooting off the dribble
-get rid of that fake man to man defense in fastbreak situations....cpu defeneders shouldn't be playing super tight glue defense on me while im fastbreaking...if someone tries to get up in a guards chest while he's running, i should be able to blow right by him.Comment

Re: Wish list NBA live series
The most needed thing in next year's game is realistic ball on rim physics. What I mean is more of a variety of missed shots(some should rebound long and others short like most are now). This would solve the fast break situation by having long rebounds and also the offensive rebounding situation.Comment
