Didn't read the whole post not gonna lie to you, but damn man effortless and despicable??

Guess I give devs too much credit but dang man that's harsh as hell if you ask me. Now did they miss the bar? Yes

Is the game up to 2013 standards set by other sports games? No not at all.

But damn man saying a whole dev teams work was absolutely effortless and despicable just had me laughing. Like damn bro do you want everyone who made this game to be dropped for next year? lol

Again I didn't read your whole post but man that one line just stood out to me.

Then yep after reading the post you definitely meant those words Behindshadows. Can't argue the anger there at all and you made a lot of good points too.

It was purposely, he was showing off the dribbling and even through all of it not once did i see cheese. After seeing a bunch of people who know nothing about basketball play, it was refreshing to see someone play the game the right way, and it looked solid.

Probably be even better with someone running plays and the dribbling game has almost endless potential, you can really utilize stick skill. I mean the game plays realistic, nothing else needs to be said.

So yeah as a Live Fan = I speak truth and don't kiss *** to a company with a mediocre and **** product, that should be passed these stages after freak'n 8th year and another generation later....so yeah...it bothers me that much....

I see you were about to try to claim that I'm a 2k fan crap without actually saying it..But I see my picture shows just how wrong your accusations would be...how about them apples....
buying their games even though you are displeased with the results only encourages them to keep it mediocre.

Keep 10, throw away the rest lol

So he was showing off the dribbling by purposely just going Iso with Kyrie, KD and Westbrook, but he was playing the game the right way, even though we still haven't seen anyone running plays? Your words, not mine. Insanity man. Insanity.

If you saw the other streams then you would know what i meant by playing the game the right way, I mean utilizing the dribbling correctly, instead of randomly spamming like every other video I've seen. Setting up offense, posting, he was also running pick and roll and even threw a few nice lobs to Bynum off the dribble. You can deny the graphics and animations, whatever, but there's no doubt when someone with knowledge of the game of basketball and some skills plays the game it plays a very realistic game of basketball.

Even two users who don't know how to play ball go at it and it still plays fairly realistic ala pacers vs rockets vid. Knock me if you want but if you don't see the basketball i.q aspects of the game then you just don't want to, or maybe your spoiled by pretty animations.

I wonder what percentage of OS threads do/do not turn into an eventual group argument and what percentage actually stay on topic.....

So....to keep this post on topic, I had to work through the stream. Any way of seeing it still? Or am I doomed to scour YouTube for decent uploads/buy the game for myself (without barely seeing a thing)?

Lol I'd say that the only threads that stay on topic are in the roster sections.

I am finding out that is a sad truth about these forums.... I get pretty passionate about NBA video gaming, but after being argued with or shot down a few times, the want to be involved in these forums shrinks a bit.....and its a shame because a lot of people on here are quite switched on and insightful, enjoyable to read etc....

Anyway..... I am guessing there is no way I can see this stream then? I was really hoping someone would upload something show casing the "guts" of the game. I think the expectation always was that it wouldn't animate very well as animations takes time, building with hours of mo-cap etc. so we can anticipate over the years, the game will move much better etc.

So......that said, there MUST be something consuming SOME of the next gen power..... under the hood perhaps? Or at least according the the devs..... and this is what I want to see in a vid. Point outs of the team specific defences, team playbooks, Synergy in effect....things of this nature. Snippets of possessions show casing these things would be great.

No good just getting uploaded vids of a person who keeps screening for a post up player, or a stream that cant be viewed because I was at work..... If I am EA Sports, I am finding a way to showcase what they worked hard on (again, assuming they did, under the hood).......

Lets see something in snippets of 5 v 5 possessions showcasing some of the strategic stuff!

So much wrong here. First, why do you guys assume that the other streamers don't know basketball? Are you a coach that has the power to judge basketball IQ by watching people playing a video game? Second, you question how many video someone has seen because they call out your flawed logic? Third, you seem to imply that this game isn't going to have any cheese. You haven't played the game then. You go out of your way to defend the videos, but lose any real objectivity.

I think what he meant was they didn't showcase their knowledge of basketball in the game. And that's true. They both played relatively basic and didn't do much of anything on offense. I'm not criticizing them, just stating facts. I am just glad someone was able to show off the game a little bit. Better than nothing.

I've watched a ton of live streams for this game and I am still sick to my stomach. I am one of those people that wanted EA to succeed in bringing another basketball game into the market. I am a very optimistic person but even I can see this was a half assed attempt by EA to try to steal some next gen hype and cash in on a mediocre basketball.

I can't believe how some people are so blind to see it and the defend the game every chance they get....hell I defended it up until gameplay started to be shown. But now that the cats out of the bag, game is out there, it's bad people!!! Even if you "have to feel it for yourself" what's that going to do? Give you a sense of self justification because you waited to play it so you can kid yourself into enjoying it?

I think there is someone on this board that fuels a lot of the anger because of the blind faith he has in this game. It's ok to have an opinion, that's all good.... But when you have an addiction then I think it's time you need an intervention. Good luck my friend, I hope this game doesn't let you down like it has let most of us down already.
                                It's 'Sconnie not wiscy!!!!!
