it's hard to keep them fans calm since they're so eager like the rest of us they're expecting big things from EA Sports with NBA Live.

Im eager to hear what features and modes they are gonna have this year. Im really leaning toward Live this year and would to have an idea of what EA has done with the game this year.

I hope modes likes NBA All Star Weekend return in the future in a more authentic and realistic fashion.

To be honest - I could care less about modes being implemented into the game at this point. These modes are worthless if the foundation isn't functioning and working properly. Just my opinion.

The hype train is always in full-force at this point, we will see in the coming weeks/months just how much they have improved the game. With the recent news about another Live producer leaving doesn't bode well for the dev team and it being so inconsistent. Once they have that "core" group of individuals in place and if what Sean O'Brien has said is true in a recent interview that EA is willing to let this dev team play out - that's when we will start seeing great strides being made in this title. I sure hope that does happen

...and BTW - is there not a NCC in these hirings?

Would probably be hard pressed to get someone to sign a contract including a NCC in the video game industry..

              Especially now.

Non-compete clause. Basically, its terms in a contract that state you can't attempt to be hired by another company that does similar work. But we've already seen the answer (technically twice, i guess?) with Mike Wang a few years ago.
