Copy and Paste that. You'll see some better movement from the offensive CPU AI (Bulls) as well as a quick basket at the end of the game by Rose (attempted). The game plays a ton better post Day 1 Patch. About midway through you'll see a pretty nice offensive set where Rose ends up with the FT Line jumper.

Granted, the defense was doubling me as Lebron and I was able to keep finding the oop, but at this point in the game, they were trying anything. Kevin Love and Lebron hit 3 back to back to back 3's at the end, but you saw Lebron with several GREAT shots, that missed, same with Dion.

I'm going to try to stream, as this wasn't the greatest exhibit of defense by the AI. I play some games that are insane defensively. I've also not seen a game over 50% PiP. I've seen 47-48%, but that's about it.

Again, the game was out of reach, so it may not be the best example, but you can clearly see me being able to bully Rose from getting into the lane with ease, and the CPU running some sets.
You need to create a new thread showing video footage of gameplay of live 15 much improved defense.Im going to purchase live 15 and experince alternative basketball this year instead of the stale series of nba 2k15.

If they take the same steps as Fifa, I expect clipping to be gone in a few years. If you watch instant replays on shots in the paint its not as bad as other areas in the game.

Stop running up the score WTF

Nice video. This on all star?

Seems like the demo definitely is missing the patch...because the defense looked better here in this small dose.

Yeah, I was laying it to them. The Love 3s in transition were heat checks lol. I was feeling it. Finally found the groove.

I downloaded the EA Access version. It tells me I have 6 hours left, but I can only do the tutorials or the finals preview.... How do I get to the other features?

You have to play the Finals version first, then it'll let you unfortunately. Or thats how my retail was.

Yeah, there is a bit of clipping. See more in the paint now as well. I wish they had more collision detection on players bodies. It would take a bit of system resources to do, but I think it would be worth it. Hopefully they address and polish clipping in an upcoming patch.

Also. You can change your shot in mid air on lay-ups and dunks!!!!!!! First NBA Live since 05 to allow you to do so. It looks amazing!! Press X in mid-air after your shot. I pulled off a 360 lay-up and saw the defender and adjusted my own shot in mid-air to avoid the block. Should of recorded it lol

WTF, your vids are very encouraging. EA needs to tighten up their marketing because without your vids and input, I probably wouldn't be purchasing the game. It definitely seems like the D is better in your vids than others that we've seen. From the footage thats been released, it seems like Live has more "soul" than the other game. Its tough to really explain, although a good deal of it probably comes from the presentation and arena atmosphere, but Live just seems like it will be a very enjoyable game to play. Looking forward to next week.

I second this post!! The atmosphere looks much better than the other basketball game. Defense looks like it indeed exist! All of the other videos show minimal defense. I've always loved the ESPN layout, makes it feel more realistic.

Cant believe im saying this, im buying NBA Live 15. The game is just flat out fun to me. Dont get me wrong I love that other game, but there was just something about Live 15 while playing it. I see alot of potential for the future of this franchise. Theres still a bit of wonkiness, offense is a bit too overpowering but a patch can address that. It plays a decent fun game of basketball. Live is indeed back. Its not deep gameplay wise as the other game not even close, but the fun factor is there more so than the other game in my opinion. Gameplay wise I give it a 6.5 but again its fun. I cant put my finger on what exactly it is but I enjoyed playing it.
It’s easier to do the right thing, than to explain why you didn’t.

Glad to see the positive reviews about Live. Seems like last year was all about putting the foundation down first and this year, they have the house up but it's just about getting the furniture and everything inside the house and then you'll see the true beauty of this game.

Sucks I gotta wait til the 28th to try this out though but I'm liking what I see so far.

I just got trounced by the Spurs as the Cavs. If you aren't paying attention, you'll get slaughtered. It was pitiful. I was talking to my wife on the phone, and monitoring emails, got beat by 22. It was an UGLY game. I broadcast it, but it's not worth the watch

I second ratedmoney. EA nailed the fun factor. I have about an hour left on my trial and am very surprised how well I am enjoying this game. If only the Dynasty mode was deeper (next year), but my faith is renewed. If I hadn't already spent $60 on 2k, I might have gotten this day one, but I think I'll wait until I can get a cheap used copy or a price drop. But the point is, the NBA Live franchise has the makings of a legitimate contender for best Basketball game. In a couple years.

It's not a better game yet than 2k, but the 14-to-15 improvement of NBA Live is far greater than the 14-to-15 improvement of NBA2k. And it's fun. Surprisingly fun, and in the end, isn't that really what matters most?

I'm eager for the review embargo to end. My guess, this game will average reviews in the 6.5-7 range from the major outlets. I'd give it a 7 right now (if last year was a 3 and NBA2k15 is a 8.5. I put a lot of weight on the Dynasty/MyGM modes)

Whats the day 1 patch supposed to fix ?

The 2 things that are bothering me enough to shake my head, is I'm still seeing way too many slingshot rebound animations, and your CPU defender shadowing you constantly because he's reading your controller input instead of reacting to your movements.

I know there is no way to implement real life physics into the game, but if at least some of these physics based issues can be made more realistic it would go a long way towards realistic gameplay.

AND PLEASE AT LEAST IMPLEMENT A GAME SPEED SLIDER, this is huuuuuuuuge.... I know massive set of sliders is impossible at this time, but if they gave us a game speed slider at least we can control the overall pace of the players and make it more realistic
