haha are you serious... You still would rather have your game look better than it plays huh... hahha... I would rather have a 2D game that plays excellent basketball, than a beautiful looking ESPN 2k4, because 2k4 did not play like a real sim game of basketball and thats period...

And as I have said before I hope that ESPN is a great game this year so that we will have two good games to play this year.. But after last years ESPN 2k4 I can't be as optimistic as some of you...

I am a big fan of EA's smooth, fluid, and realistic gameplay... ESPN 2k4 put a very sour taste in my mouth..

I never said that at all, all im saying is live gameplay isn't all that, thats if you like ice skating on the court, plus espn gameplay Ive always liked and yes this years espn looks like it's gonna play better then live05, they never fixed the ice skating affect.

Are you sure it was ESPN that put a sour taste in your mouth.....J/K you left yourself open for that one

As I said how in the world can you guys still be loyal to ESPN after the debacle of last years version?? I dont understand it... I mean I understand that it's 19 bux but damn..

If ESPN is better than Live this year I will make a topic stating that I was totally wrong, and I will apologize, but I dont see that happening going off of last year..

I play what I find fun, I'm not dedicated to one franchise/clothing label/shoe line etc. etc. I just do what I enjoy, and what's comfortable. The mindstate of this is better than that is making a lot of you miss out on some great things. Not only when it come to videogames, but life in general.

Back to Live, I didn't enjoy not a single live on the PSOne Loved 95-98 however. I mostly played In the Zone because it was FUN bottom line.

You question the 'loyalty' after one bad game. You take a consensus EA Sports had quite a few 'bad years' with both Live & Madden (Madden 96 anyone?) It's a belief that the developers will take what they learned from the last game and improve it. Why we all buy Live/2K/ every year.

hahaa you are right I did leave myself open on that one... but in all honesty I never really payed attention to the skating effect... But even with the skating live 04 was a way better game than ESPN2k4..

I'd rather have sliding players compared to Isomotion or pumpfakes being the only ways to get around your defenders.

If ESPN NBA Basketball had graphics worse than NBA Live's alot of you guys would be quiet.

I hope it's not going to be the same in the case of ESPN, I really hope it's a good game because then that will push EA to make Live even better..
