As I said how in the world can you guys still be loyal to ESPN after the debacle of last years version?? I dont understand it... I mean I understand that it's 19 bux but damn..

If ESPN is better than Live this year I will make a topic stating that I was totally wrong, and I will apologize, but I dont see that happening going off of last year..

Well LIVE"04" had it share of problems too, and frankly what the hell did EA do this year to make Live better then last year, please don't say ASW, I think LIVE took a step backwards in the grpahics department. ESPN has redone a lot of ther game this year, read the producer Q/A. They both we be good games, I think ESPN looks a lot more appealing.

lol. we can't have constructive criticism about a game? I mean its like saying, "oh I love the honda accord 2001 and 2002 editions, but the 2003 edition had a major brake flaw and was totally undriveable" and although that is true, why cant we have hope for the "new product".

I dont get it.. I love both games but i dont have the mentality of fans of a sports game... I play whats better.. I dont criticism other games and call out there extreme flaws every chance I get.

First and formost ESPN 2k4 did suck last year, it was not unplayable like you say, I did own LIVE 04 and thougt it was better. First of all half of you EA fans just think your games are always the best anyway, your wrong on that one. It's not all about graphics either, but I sure as hell want my game to look pretty good and not have all the players look skinny in my game, Bottom line is ESPN is a lot more realistic then any of EA games IMO. Take it for what is or take it nowhere I could careless I just don't think LIVE did really anything to improve it game this year

Not to play devil's advocate, but I saw the change shot in Konami's Run & Gun arcade game, before there were in NBA Live.

Onto the real matter of the post. I was really disappointed in ESPN 2k4 last year, but I really liked Live 2004 after totally hating 2003. I agree with some points where it may look nice, but the comp isn't really running any play sets. It felt canned (and it was.)

I'm just waiting for both so I can enjoy a great game of video hoops.

haha are you serious... You still would rather have your game look better than it plays huh... hahha... I would rather have a 2D game that plays excellent basketball, than a beautiful looking ESPN 2k4, because 2k4 did not play like a real sim game of basketball and thats period...

And as I have said before I hope that ESPN is a great game this year so that we will have two good games to play this year.. But after last years ESPN 2k4 I can't be as optimistic as some of you...

I am a big fan of EA's smooth, fluid, and realistic gameplay... ESPN 2k4 put a very sour taste in my mouth..
