Yes, but Devin Harris who was a good shooter, and also a 40% shooter from otuside in college got what, a 48 FG rating, and a 37 3PT rating? Huh?


Also Jahidi white is atually a really good offensive rebounder, it's not a mistake for it to be so high, the guy is a tank, and actually pretty athletic for his tankness, so if he was getting the minutes he'd be one of the league leaders, but he's always injured, and has other flaws that prevent that from happening.






Actually yes, you're right, but this is actually how it is:

0 3PT - 12'
1-9 3PT -13'
10-19 3PT - 15'
20-29 3PT - 18'
30-49 3PT - 20'
50-59 3PT - 23'
60+ 3PT - 25'

So a guy could have a 80 FG, and a 19 3PT, but that would mean he's only good within 15'.

Speedy Claxton should have like an 85 FG, and a 31 3PT, he's great from 18-20 ft, but he can't hit three's.

Which now with teh mid-range game back we will be able to hit shots with the mid-range guys.

That's called EA stupidity, it's kinda like how Pietrus was a bad defender couldn't shoot at all, wasn't athletic, and had the speed of a center last year, or how Kirk Hinrich was slower than Corie Blount last year.

Good question. Probably because Mark Blount only had 10 points per game over the entire season, although he turned it on towards the end of the season. He had a high field goal percentage but a low amount of attempts. NBA Live ratings are generated from a player's performance over the entire previous season, not the last couple months. NBA Live ratings are also not based on playoff performance. By the way, FG rating is not the only factor in field goal percentage. What astonished me is how low his primacy rating is, but he had a very low amount of field goals made per minute, thats why, he just didnt shoot the ball enough when in the game.

Blount is one of those guys thatll probably need his ratings tweaked to be more realistic, much like what happened with Zach Randolph and Andrei Kirilenko last year.

I don't normally think much of IGN for basketball...

But I have to say, that putting all ratings for EVERY player in that format is excellent

Have punched them all into EXCEL.

Very easy to see what needs changing and what players to watch for when we play etc. Everyone should punch it into excel...
