Well, for the online folks, I doubt they'd be able to tweak any ratings, so they'd have to play with the ratings EA decided.....

Also, if you're playing over a friend's house, chances are you're not going to have a highly tweaked roster available and most likely will be playing with the default ratings. Look at it from that perspective.......

With that said, I don't see how Jimmy Jackson did everything he did last year to lose an overall rating point. I just don't get that.....

And EA has always been on the conservative side when rating rookies. It would be a tad better if they gave some rookies the benefit of the doubt like in Madden......

The ratings in general are debatable, no doubt about that. In a relative sense, even more debatable than they are in Madden. I mean, to let you know something about the quality of the ratings, Fred Jones had a 10 dunk rating last year......

I do find it funny that Eddy Curry is faster then then Ben Gordon. 58 speed for curry, and a 55 for Gentle Ben.

Yeah, when I looked at Gordon's ratings I was a little stunned. Perhaps the ratings for the established players are arguable, but the ratings for the rookies are definitely blindfolded dartboard status.

PS, was he at the combine? Anyone know his lane agility test results?

He did okay, but Shaun Livingston destroyed them all....he was the best of all those guards.

Wow, yea, definitely a mistake there. Did you notice Mutombo is also 55?!

lol...didnt even see Mutombo even with Gordon. Hell looking over the bulls complete team Gordon is considered the 2nd slowest player on the team next to Trybanski. I guess i will be adjusting Gordon's speed and quickness to 72 and 75.

I agree with EA subscribing to the Dartboard method for assigning ratings.

I'm still scratching my head why Jamal crawford gets a higher or equal rating to Rip Hamilton and Ronnie Artest. Oh well.

By the way, Gordon, lane agility test was 11.25 while Shaun Livingston was 10.72. Devin Harris had 11.03. and jamar nelson had 10.95. Here is a useless stat from the predraft workouts. Livington couldnt do one bench press rep of 185, while my guy Ben Gordon did 12 .

Samuel Dalembert has a 34 speed (which is slower than Eddy Curry as well)

Cuttino Mobely has an 80 donk

Hedo Turkglou is faster and quicker than Jameer Nelson

Zach Randolph has a higher donk rating than Theo Ratliff

Derek Anderson has a high donk rating than Qyntel Woods

Penny Hardaway is faster than Jamal Crawford

Jamal Mashburn's donks are now equivalent to Jamaal Magloire?

Man this is making me mad

Some of these ratings completely suck. I guess it will give me something to do when I get the game. A lot of the ratings look the same as last year's.
