    ^^^ what up.ClassicMan!

interested to hear your thoughts on the demo? could you see yourself playing on a consistent basis?

also you had a big man when hooped together on the other game - what archatypes do you like/dislike so far?

You dont lose the step back with the shot stick turned off

I would not turn the right stick shooting off. You can still go into a shot after doing a quick dribble stick step back but I believe there are other more seamless animation that also create more space you will lose. Also very importantly you will lose the floater which is deadly when used correctly and you will lose the drop step and and post hop controls. They are very effective when using other controls to create a bit of momentum and space from your defender.

Do we know are we going to be able to have more than one The One characters going at a time in full game?

Some commentary lines are the completely wrong context of what's going on. Heard one where I made a nice layup but they mentioned me shooting from deep or something.

I'll be playing LIve Run all year....I havent even gotten drafted yet because I just keep running games and getting locked out, lol

What will stop me from playing 5v5 are transitional animations. They are starting to get to me. Everything is just a bit too methodical and takes me out of the game. I feel like catching some one on a quick cut to the basket is a crap shoot. I've had a lot of great sequences where I have the defense chasing the ball that end in a choppy finish.

This is definitely my biggest issue right now.

Sometime the pass you get can help with the transitions. Like getting a lob in the post or a bounce pass after a screen.

So no one going to point out that Kyrie's momentum was going one way and then he all of a sudden jumped completely in place? This is what I was referring to before about players warping strangely into animations. Is this a physics issue? A programming issue? A lack of animation issue? Confused how in 2017 we don't have a system in place that would accurately represent a player running to contest the shot and jumping past him?

If you can't get the basics of player movement and physics right, then you might as well pack it in.

The 2nd video KD doesn't put the ball down on his hesitation, but what's worse is I didn't lose the ball in traffic and dunking on basically 3 players.

These videos are a microcosm of what is detracting from the immersion of this game play. The demo has never gave me the impression that the ball was free. From shots, to passes, to rebounds. Everything felt very scripted in a way.

I had pointed this out in my initial impression, but I am glad someone caught it on video. The iso system can't work properly with a ball that isn't truly free. It cheapens the feel of it when guys can spam the dribble stick and be rewarded by things like this happening and not truly punishing for over dribbling or chaining two moves that shouldn't chain together.

It is a shame, that you can have player renders that look this great, then you get in game and see them start moving. I mean honestly, these are probably the two best player models I have ever seen of these two players.

The more I play this game, the more the ugly animations rear their head.

I'm not sure what it is, but transitional animations are terrible. Still the herky jerky from one capture to the next. Players moving in different speeds erratically. Players warping from dribbling to lay up without the ball touching the ground.

Also, there seems to be too much movement during down time. It's like players have ADD and can't sit still. Constantly twitching or moving body parts.

I don't know man, they have A LOT of work to do in the animation department.

I've also noticed that signature animations for jump shots don't always trigger. I've seen KD shoot some generic fadeaway shot, and the next shoot like he shoots a fadeaway.

They literally need to dedicate an entire year to just motion capture. Get as many players as you can get in and mo cap them. The disparity between 2k and Live right now in terms of quality of animation is so vast at this point, they need to make a concerted effort to catch up. Granted 2k has it's own issues in regards to animations but the quality is there.
