This needs to be flipped around.

Thanks for the heads up. We'll look into it.

Rocky thank you for the addition of the C's and the Rockets! Gameplay updates are great! Keep it coming! Also the player updates are awesome. I really love the Rose-Update.

        OK.....my 2 cents

I thought playoff atmosphere was done really well but I was hoping that this Houston / Boston demo had regular season atmosphere so I could see the difference.
Graphics look great, some free throw angles and post camera cuts look super realistic.....like for real for real. I kinda wish we could actually shoot the free throw from some of those different angles.
I liked how both Boston and Houston ran different plays than Cavs and GS did.....of course in the retail version they would but for a demo I was pleasantly surprised.
I think the CPU shoots too many 3's....I played a lot as the Cavs and assumed it was only because I was going against GS but after playing Boston a few times they kinda did the same thing.
Some dunk / layup animations seem to slow down or pause as they kick in....kinda hard to explain.
Sometimes when I try blocking there is also a lag in my jump, almost like an "online" lag....only offline.
Rim Physics are much better than recent versions of Live but occasionally you still get a very odd bounce off the rim that looks unrealistic and almost seems like it's tied into the rebounding animation.....again hard to explain.
I saw some HARD picks that looked awesome....completely flooring the defender trying to get around a screen or blindly running into a screen.

That's all I got.......I honestly think Live will be a serious threat to 2K next year. Live is seriously serious and coming hard....u can really see the effort!!

EDIT.....A few things I forgot......sliding is still here. There are times I lose total control of my player, I hope that gets fixed!
On set plays I've noticed them come over to set a pick many times but when you run the play in that direction your guy misses the pick completely, it's like once he sets he does not move, sometimes he sets completely out of position.
Fouls and body contact look great, maybe some of the best I've ever seen in a hoops game. In replay you can actually see how and where the foul was committed, like legit contact! It's something you have to see for yourself.
Graphics....did I mention how good those look yet?

WAIT....another edit!! I'm sitting here watching a CPU v CPU game and I'm seeing things I've never seen in 2K before but I'm also seeing a lot of really ugly things! I however just noticed one thing that floored me! In the crowd you will see a random fan from an opposing team, in the Garden I see a few random Lebron jerseys, in Houston I saw some GS yellow in the crowd. Pay attention to how THOSE fans react to big shots! They actually respond differently than the rest of the home teams crowd, thats a crazy little touch!!
I think we also forgot that finally Madison Square Garden will be back, no more Knicks arena or whatever 2K calls it. In Boston it's nice to see Comcast Xfinity on the basket support.....EA always pay big money for their naming rights to things. It adds to the detail for sure!

The days of #BynumJesus are over!

Love the new update but I was getting annoyed because I would tap the steal button and would ALWAYS be called for an intentional foul. Also I fouled out with Kyrie in OT and he was still in the game. Also on auto subs when I played with the Celtics and Rockets, they never subbed out the point guard at any point during the game.

NBA Live 18 - Demo Impressions

Anyone else noticed its easy to draw a charge vs the AI?

This game is really fun and a lot of plays play out so realistically

Been noticing a bit of this in transition:

Ariza went across court to guard Curry and left KD wide open for 3. I'm controlling Anderson so I was trying to see if something I did threw the AI off track....but every one was ahead of their man and Ariza does it almost immediately...

just posting here for Schwall and company to see...

I think the game is fun, but what bothers me is there is no differential in speed between players. On fast breaks there's no way bigs should be keeping up with Steph or Kyrie. Also, it's TOO physical!! What I mean by that is the whole hip ride function is OVERDONE. That should not be the only way I'm able to get past a defender(that's just like the cutoff bumping the other game had last yr) honestly I wish there were multiple ways to create space. These are the things that are grinding my gears right now...oh yeah and player loose ball awareness is still iffy...Man tone this stuff down and we'll have winner.

Is there a way that you can see Visual Play Art for the plays that the AI automatically calls for you?

I get the play art when I trigger and call the play myself. But I want to see play art for all the plays

The good news is the foul slider works the bad news is if you crank it up to get realistic numbers there are way too many and 1s. Also the blocking has been nerfed which is ok but can you please nerf the putbacks on free throws?

I personally think the hip ride is fine and honestly much more realistic. This game has a better hip ride than the other game (pre-2k18). Considering the success rate of the interior shots, decreasing the amount of hip ride would probably turn the game into a paint fest.

I've had it happen multiple times to the point where it drove my player across the court and I had NO CONTROL over it...it needs to be toned down and that shouldn't be the only way to get past a player(or heck just move ) Imo....that's just my feel on it....it starts to get repetitive after awhile..
