The No Man's Sky hype was based off lies people were told by the devs. People bought into what was being said. I always thought the game looked and seemed boring. The hype in the Live forums right now are based off people actually playing the demo, not what the devs are telling us what the game will play like. And Live 16 never received this amount of positive feedback on these forums. Not even close. We are not saying it's the best b-ball game on the market, we are saying based off the demo this team has finally delivered a quality basketball title which does enough right to warrant a purchase.

It’s easier to do the right thing, than to explain why you didn’t.

Actually it doesn't, but I see you're one of those guys that spreads false information to support your opinion.

Man I freaking love that about this game. I could see myself playing the play now quick match online , and dynasty mode offline. Something I haven't done in basketball games in literally 3 YEARS . Because I simply haven't enjoyed that aspect of any basketball games lately .

But , I keep saying this , they need some paint defense . If not that will get old quick lol.

Definitely getting both, I haven't had this much fun since 2010. I may wait until around Black Friday or Xmas though because you just don't get the same experience like you used to at release.

Re: After Playing the Demo, Are You Buying, Not Sure or No

After playing the demo, I'm on the fence. The One was a lot of fun and I'm not a big fan of single-player career modes (definitely more enjoyable so far than 2k's MyPlayer). The gameplay is a little bit different 2k and I think in terms of depth of gameplay, 2k has the edge. Live was pretty fun, but I did feel that there was some input lag (slight, but it might be that I'm not that good).

The key for me will be the franchise mode. 2k has the best franchise mode of any sports game IMO, but if Live's franchise mode is decent enough with customization options, I'll probably leans towards Live.

Not this particular vid but the way the locomotion is done in game is just top notch. It's what sold me in the purchase.

If 2k18 isn't close to this type of movement at least I have Live to fall back on. In other words if 2k frustrates me I can calm my nerves with something more controllable. Lol

Nah. Gameplay is still really generic and this game isn't ready to prime time. Animation are still bad overall. Lacks signature styles separating individual players. It's a slight improvement. This game is still way behind and has a long way to go

Definite buy. The gameplay is too fun to pass up. Yes they can work more on signature shots/dunks, and continue to remove floaty animations, but I absolutely love the gameplay shown in the demo with the Pro players, which is all I play with.

The fact that I will be competing both offensively and defensively where it is actually determined by my own skill is a must buy. I cannot wait to D up ppl. Such a free flowing game.

I'll constantly be wishing you could do WNBA seasons.. that would probably be too good to pass up. I wonder why they didn't do it? It can't be too different than using regular teams could it?

Re: After Playing the Demo, Are You Buying, Not Sure or No

2k is all flash, little substance. A billion canned animations so that your player flicks his wrist like in real life. And bunch of different dribble moves to do standing still.

Everything is so authentic and lifelike, but only in a 3 foot radius. All the gameplay and movements in between are generic, scripted, and predictable. It gets so stale.

Live's core gameplay engine fills all those holes. Everything is woven together so beautifully and seamlessly. The players actually make the plays they make in real life, even if they don't flick their wrist the same exact way. Players actually feel less generic. LeBron plays like LeBron (user controlled in this demo). Curry plays like Curry. KD like KD. Love like Love. TT like TT. Klay like Klay. Livingston like Livingston.

You can feel the different styles and signatures through their actual gameplay and not just an edit screen like in 2k.

2k is more authentic on the surface, but Live is more authentic under the hood where it really matters.
