At this point, I think I'm waiting until it is on sale. They have made strides this year for sure and I want to support, but there is just too much still wrong with this game to warrant a full price purchase.

If they keep at it, I may be in for '19.

Hell I preordered it after I downloaded the demo. Didn't even play the demo before I did it. I have been playing Live since 95 or 96, had Mitch Richmond on the cover, on Sega Genesis and 2k since it first came out on the Dreamcast. I just want Live to succeed so both EA and 2K can push each other and deliver the best NBA game without either company just putting out a game with minor tweaks knowing that we will buy it because it's our only option. Example is Madden, which I buy every year because I like it and it's the only NFL game.

I believe Live 97 had Mitch on the cover The original Live 95 had an action photo from the 1994 Finals Knicks-Rockets matchup, Live 96 had the Magic-Rockets Finals matchup I still have a Genesis just to play my brother in Live 95

THIS! For everything the game does that I like (FaceScan & XP), it has far too many things that bother me and make it difficult to play by comparison. I voted Probably not, but if it dips below $15 by the holidays I might reach. But for now, I'll wait till Access.

I'm buying it day one but I'm still disappointed that it seems to be the same bare bones game it's been for the past three released iterations.

Alright so I preordered the game on the Xbox store and my player somehow got drafted first by the 76ers. Looking for opinions about whether I should reset my player and not get drafted by the sixers or stay. I'm leaning on staying since I should be able to get good playing time. I'm a SG.

Having a blast with the demo, looks like I'll be buying both 2K and Live this year, I'm not playing two Nba games so which ever one I enjoy most will be my primary.

After bombs were dropped today by the enemy I wonder who is going to cancel their preorder. I hope it's not another case of death on arrival for Live but with the lack of news and 2k dropping heat today it looks that way. Live can't blame anyone but themselves for poor marketing and holding out on news if Live doesn't sell well (which wouldn't surprise me) and I knew they weren't confident in this game when they price dropped it.

I watched the entire stream and I do appreciate what 2k is doing....but to be completely honest, I came away a little underwhelmed. I'm sure my 13 yr old son will eat this mode up, but the offensive and defensive blogs released earlier by 2k was much more interesting to me. I'm just an old school player who buys these basketball games to play nba basketball. I'd rather see both of these companies put all their time and effort into tightening up gameplay and presentation rather than going over the top on modes like myCareer and The One......but I get it that I will be in the minority. Still loving this demo, and still buying Live 18 because I really like what I see within the gameplay. And just having too much fun to be honest. The only reason I won't buy Live is if I hear the franchise mode offers nothing. That is the info I am waiting to hear from the Live 18 team!

not gonna lie, i was a little nervous about what 2k had up their sleeve but i actually came away from the stream VERY happy that Live 18 is only 2 weeks away. 🤐

OH! and i get to run 5v5 all weekend with the crew 💪

At first i was super hype but that has died down, but 2k will have alot of problems once 2k drops and i will stay away from that and b on live
