I really don’t have an issue with the right stick contest when I preemptively hold the right stick up before they go into their shot animation. It pretty much always works.

If your trying to use it to react to the jumpshot animation I can understand where your coming from.

Would it be possible for you to post a video showing that you are able to essentially keep your hands up at all times? Because right now, it's just not happening. Again, take note that I'm pushing the right stick up every single time I'm defending the guy with the ball. Because shot contest shouldn't only be tied to someone in the shooting motion. Sometimes defenders put their hands up to essentially shield the ball handlers face so to speak.

If I'm constantly holding the right stick up, I would expect my players arms to remain suspended in the air.

Just played my first cavs warriors game post patch and have to say it was one of the most exciting fun realistic games to date

Yea my guys don't put their hands uo all the time either when I push up on D but I am assuming that's how it's programmed?

I prefer it was tied real time to my stick but maybe there is a Game play balance reason for it? Dunno.

I DO think that if I have stick up the shot reacts as of it were contested even when hands are down but yes I see what you're saying should be up if you push up.

Yea I get what u mean I’m in the same boat as Klocker. The hands don’t stay up all the time when pushing up on the right stick.

I thought u were talking about whether or not the shots were being contested. Even when the player I’m controlling hands aren’t actively up, if I’m holding up on the right stick before the animation I get the contest.

Played a couple games tonight after the patch, I like the responsiveness updates for loose balls, almost everything felt great except I think the speed increase was a little too much...maybe 50% of what they up' it would have been enough. I've seen a couple instances where guys were a little frantic and jumped out of bounds or looked a bit strange. BUT, it's better than it was before the update! Looking forward to playing with my Lakers and not the cavs or warriors...but I've been playing the demo non stop. More of an online head to head gamer here, could care less about the other modes.

About to give these new gameplay tunings/tweakings a try.

That said, I had to change back all of my gameplay sliders back to 50 to give this a fair shot. EA needs to allow us to save slider sets, or at the very least, an easy "restore defaults" option -- preferably both ...

Yeah, game is too fast on the latest update. It looks good at times, then they randomly go into turbo mode while running around.

Please release full patch notes this year.

The team is selling themselves short by just saying 'bug fixes' or 'gameplay improvements'.

More people will invest in your game if you show them how well you are supporting it with the changes you make.

In addition to this I have noticed the R stick not being responsive performing dribble moves (simple left & right movements)...

Try waiting until the ball is in the hand, I thought I was having issues as well, but someone had a tutorial about dribbling and mentioned you can't just flick the right stick to do a crossover if the ball isn't in the correct hand. So for example to go from left to right, the ball needs to be in your left hand...if you time it right ive found it's very responsivene and accurate.

I've been playing for 2 days now, and it seems better now. I'm not seeing the odd turbo bursts anymore. My game says 70 speed though, and I didn't adjust it down to 70 from 80.

Ok -- I am going back to my slider modifications from pre-1.05.

Default sliders on All-Star difficulty, offense is way too clogged, simple ball movement won't get you open shots (not before a pass is picked off), and it requires way too much work on the sticks to get any sort of space for an open look. And when you finally get an opening to the basket, defenders that aren't even major shotblockers (Tristan and Love) will throw your ish into the front row.

And defensively, still seeing way to many ridiculous shots (spinning, fadeaway 3-pointer from Kyrie from straight-on, 5-feet behind the line; ridiculous reverse layups from Tristan 12-FEET OUT; Kyrie doesn't miss a layup with 3 guys jumping at him include Durant).

I'm back to wanting to chuck my controller across the room again with all this CPU CHEESE. Back to my personal sliders.
