Well, they still don't have Eric Bledsoe on the Bucks and Greg Monroe on the Suns.

I started a franchise with my Lakers, so it is really frustrating not being able to edit anything, especially since I'm set to play the Suns (game two of the season) with Bledsoe likely going to torch me.

Other than that, rosters look pretty good. Just kind of surprising, given that it's the 12th now. And you never know if EA is going to give up or vanish again which would really suck and make this game nearly unplayable if a big trade (trade deadline is coming) goes down. It's pretty lame that you can only make a trade for your own team in franchise. At least make that mode able to have more control.

I don't even think a roster update would affect Franchise Mode? Please tell me I'm wrong. And if they do affect it (which I hope they do), will moves the actual Lakers make happen for mine? Or am I immune to it?

Update: I noticed Brandon Knight was playing. I started franchise mode with "pre-existing injuries" ON, so he should be out. Dude probably won't play again, given how he keeps getting hurt teams ain't likely to take a chance. Phoenix is eating his contract this year. Also, I can't hit a 3PTer with Kyle Kuzma. This is a problem. Not sure what his skill is in the game, but he can shoot them in real life. I won the game 114-112 in an exciting finish and fun game, but it was lame seeing Bledsoe have an impact on the game.

And Lonzo needs his afro bigger. Not sure if EA changed it when he got that haircut, but he's rocking it big again, so it's kind of bugging me.

Pistons still have Beno on their roster. Tobias should be starting PF. Pistons are now 10-3 and should get some love. Without roster editing EA needs to be on top of rosters and they are bad.

I have said little about this but here goes.

If EA is not putting roster editing into the game, I’m fine with that...however THEY NEED TO BE CONSTANTLY UPDATING THE ROSTERS FOR US.

Now that I got that off my chest, they need to go back to the way they update NBA Live 10. That was incredible.

If EA is not putting roster editing into the game, I’m fine with that...however THEY NEED TO BE CONSTANTLY UPDATING THE ROSTERS FOR US.

Now that I got that off my chest, they need to go back to the way they update NBA Live 10. That was incredible.

I see Erika is working on rosters now..was she all along? If not, maybe this means more constant and consistent updates. We can only hope! I've been dying to get a franchise going but been holding out on a solid roster update...still waiting and my interest is slipping by the day to even play this game. All that hype around preorder time and I'm so disappointed currently.

Erika had some health related issues I think so she was off for awhile. It was on her Twitter.

My thoughts exactly, we shouldnt have outdated rosters just because 1 person takes leave. There has to be others that can work on rosters. Bet we wait til next Tuesday for another update

Im really having a hard time keeping connected to this game. Outdated rosters i think i ruining this game. For someone that only plays play now games this is so FRUSTRATING.

Roster Updates

Love the game and all but what we continue to not get in this game it has to stop when it comes to me shelling out cash for this game. Can’t say I’m not disappointed and just can’t do this again.

It's weird because there's an in-game update that's dated 11/14, and it says it includes "updated rosters," but the rosters are still out of date. Why even put that text on there?

And why isn't there at least the option to edit a team's starting 5 in the roster section?

The gameplay is fun, but this isn't how you rebuild a brand.

Nah man, I️ disagree with putting injured players off the roster in play now games. I️ hate that 2k does that. They shouldn’t put anyone inactive for play now games, people can do that themselves, if they so choose, . Without editing included, all players need to be as playable as possible IMO. We paid full money to play with all the players whenever we want, against friends and online, and not with some injury that keeps his rating unrealistically low like they suddenly forgot how to play. THAT is where you have to remember it’s a game too, and don’t go overboard with the “sim” stuff. Who wants to wait til a June post playoff roster to play with all your players?? imo, a great game on the court so far.. it needs help with more “daily” synergistic updates if that is their roster direction, until a working and bug free roster/player editor is added.

Sounds like rosters should just be default all season including no ratings changes huh. You can't have all good but want "synergy"

Whether we agree or disagree on how injured players are handled...giving us options would end the conversation all together....that's really the long and short of it. It's frustrating that it even has to be a conversation going on 4 years now.

In the mean time, we need to sure up things like Brandon Paul being a light skinned post anchor...
