Downloaded the Demo. Scanned my face. Uploaded it. Played the first game..

Deleted the Demo.

I just can't do it. I tried, but with the lack of updates to the franchise I can't do it. Game over.

I had a ton of time w retail the last 2 days. It feels better than the demo. Superstar against the CPU is TOUGH. I had the Wolves against the Lakers, and it was an insane defensive battle. I was locked up. But I was able to hold them pretty well for the most part too, except Bron.

I fly out tomorrow morning, but I'll try to give some in depth impressions Sunday.

I have noticed in the demo, players dont seem to sweat after awhile. Do they in the full game?

Kudos to the NBA Live team. This is the one EA Sports title thats headed in the right direction. It's the one title I can say without a doubt is taking strides every year. Now yes of course after not releasing a game for years and the awful game that was 14 the only place to go was up. But, I'm glad they are going up. If they can continue to just keep building the way they have this will be one of the better sports games period. Long way to go to get to that point, but it's headed there.

Huh? Where in his post did he even mention the other game? Live fans sure are really thin skinned. Anybody not liking the demo is automatically a 2k fanboy lol y'all kill me

Before I get labeled as a 2k fanboy I already have this game preordered. Even with the lack of franchise news.

One of the coolest improvements to me is the fact that you can choose your squad during some of the street ball games. Like once you recruit Kevin Knox or Maya Moore, they are in your line up so you can adjust that based on who you want to play.

I also saw that you can buy players to join your team too. That is going to be a fun feature if they add in a lot of players during the season. It is limited at the moment, especially with WNBA players.

If I can recruit a few more star WNBA players I'm going to have an all girl squad killing it on the court lol.

I'm so glad to see this fun addition to the game. It is clear that the devs worked very hard on the One and I respect that

I finished my first game on Pro and honestly felt a bit blah about it all.

But then I played another on All Star and my opinion swayed right back to that magical good feeling.

I swear there was a moment Curry tried to shake me and then stepped back to cross me up again. I think I had Brown on him and stuck with it so he eventually passed but it felt very Curry-esque. I might have video on it so I'll try to watch it again and post.

I know someone said earlier that the ball is always handed to the 1 and I didn't notice that at all. I saw Klay, Durant and Curry push the ball. And the 1 isn't the only player that takes the inbound either. Even as the Celtics, Hayward would at times take the inbound with Rozier and Irving both in the game.

Only player I didn't notice having the ball was Green which could just be lack of opportunities or an issue with the 4 not taking the inbound. I don't know.

The lack of sweat is weird. Can't take good pics with guys looking flat. Also where's our depth options in replay? That was nice last year.

Playing against the CPU W’s was crazy. Steph will literally kill you if you press up too tight or sag off. Klay is deadly in most catch and shoot situations. Durant...... you just have to hope he misses

One of the only gripes I had was the end game “urgency” from the cpu. If they are down by 10, they won’t attack offensively or play pressure defense to try and force a TO. I played about 4 hrs last night and noticed this few times.

The post game is still barebones especially when compared to all the dribble moves present.

The dribble combos are crazy. It’s rhythm based and you can’t spam the right stick. You have small “windows” where you can counter the defense. It doesn’t feel like a canned sequence though.

If the franchise mode was more fleshed out and if there were more community sharing features like jerseys creation, expansion teams, etc.... this would be my only nba game.

If you liked 18, you will love 19. If you are new to live, go to the practice mode and get familiarized with the movement etc.

This is NOT 2k and if you don’t play it like 2k you will be able to enjoy it.

I also noticed that playing the warriors. Klay almost always picked kyrie on half court sets. Even in the 4th qtr green guarded kyrie when Klay was caught guarding brown. Steph hardly guarded kyrie ever just real life. Hopefully the sweat thing gets worked out because it definitely is weird not seeing any sweat on the players.

As a long time Live gamer, I have yet to see input on something that disappoints year after year...

How is the late game logic? Every year it's the same old thing...CPU up by 2 and takes first open look even though there is no shot clock and they could run the clock out. With the few games I've had time to play they weren't close enough to see this...

Natural movement has improved...I feel like I've hit more guys quick cuts for a finish in this demo more than the entirety of last years run, lol

Do you know how I can start with a new player / delete the old one?

It's possible, I deleted a player and restarted so just keep trying to find that option

The fun thing is that all of clothes that you earned with your first player stay even when you delete and start over

It started with the growing NBA trend of elite shooters hitting the corners on fastbreaks...instead of filling lanes for a layup, lol

I would imagine it's a bit tough to program since there is a lot of decision making involved in guarding it. Just speculating.

We have guys pretty passionate about transition defense here so hopefully they are reporting it too when they see it too...
