Re: NBA Live 19 Patch 1.07 Available - Adds Edit Player in Franchise Mode, Patch Note
Realistically, with the patch and the one mode, inside players feel very nerfed. Honestly people hit 3's at a 75% rate.
Dunks need to be tuned down, shooting needs to be tweaked, enough to make these shooters pass to open people, and post players (not random dunks/driving) but post game needs a boost.
This is coming from a PG.Comment

I Initially had thought my franchise vanished after the update, too. Nope, just scroll right and there it is.MegatronComment

I see a common theme in this thread for sure the more people post their impressions. The people that play franchise mode seem to love the patch, those that play modes as The One seem to dislike the patch in general. Not saying that is exactly for everyone but if we did a poll I think that would be the result.
On the passing interception front. I found some success using more bounce passes now many situations it seems to help with the interceptions somewhat. Again this is on The League in Pro so it may still suck on All Star I will try that once I get my new The One player up on levels a bit more.Go Lions, Tigers, Pistons, Red Wings, Wolverines!Comment

To me, arbitrarily lowering %'s is not sim, there has to be some sense behind it...
When things like this happen, it's more frustrating than anything.

Re: NBA Live 19 Patch 1.07 Available - Adds Edit Player in Franchise Mode, Patch Note
So I played a few games on All Star in The League and they all came down to the wire last shot wins 2 of 3 of them and the 3rd was also within 5 points. But the issue is too many interceptions still all over by my teammates even though I have adjusted somewhat to it and am keeping mine down to 4-6 a game as a PG I think that is fair. But my team makes me lose or gets me close to losing because they constantly toss interceptions.
Then add to that in my last game against the Cavs, Nance Jr. had 9 blocks!!! wtf.
I feel like there needs to be something in the middle between the current All Star and Pro. Pro is too easy but All Star seems ok accept for the overdone blocks, constant interceptions and the slew of missed layups. Adjust those 3 things down some and I would love this patch.
See if I had damn sliders in The One this wouldn't even be an issue, there is absolutely no reason for them to have at least have sliders in The League part of The One!!! The other modes I can understand a little bit why they don't, The Street World tour should have them too but maybe it doesn't because of the fact they give out crates for getting all the check boxes for each court idk.Last edited by SGMRock; 10-12-2018, 02:50 PM.Go Lions, Tigers, Pistons, Red Wings, Wolverines!Comment

Same common theme in 2k and Live went to the dark side and is doing identical patches. They are only focusing on Franchise mode and not The One mode. When you can only control 1 player and 1 player only the whole fun factor is out the door with everything nerfed back and every CPU player having super defense.
Yet I just saw someone in here say tone down the dunks because they play Franchise and dont like it? Like wow really? What dunks? I can't even drive to the basket as it's 99% blocked by every player including WNBA and you want it toned even more to enjoy Franchise mode? Same story with 2k same story for Live. Game over The One is officially ruined.Comment

Re: NBA Live 19 Patch 1.07 Available - Adds Edit Player in Franchise Mode, Patch Note
Common with both 2K19 and The One both career modes don't allow any slider setting changed they force you to use the generic settings of the skill level which cater to the franchise/myleague play.
In 2K19 to get around this I made a Create a Player and added him to the Pistons they play the Pistons in MyLeague with player lock. This works great and you can put almost everything on Auto so you don't have to do anything to manage the team itself.
Unfortunately Live doesn't have a player lock like this so you can't do that.
Either way both games seem stuck on the fact that if they allow sliders in the career modes people will somehow exploit them. I can't really see how though. I mean in MyCareer you can play Pro level and dominate all your games, yes it will take you a bit longer to unlock all the level caps because you don't get as many mypoints in easier games.
Live has a cap on how much XP you can make per game so they also control how fast you can level no matter what skill level you play on. I don't see any way anyone could really exploit leveling faster the One player faster in Live as the level cap for XP seems to be the same no matter what skill level you play the One at in The League so again no reason for them to not allow slider settings.Go Lions, Tigers, Pistons, Red Wings, Wolverines!Comment

Re: NBA Live 19 Patch 1.07 Available - Adds Edit Player in Franchise Mode, Patch Note
There was a update that was like 600mb or so yesterday to fix the crashes and the missing Franchise saves that this 1.07 patch created. I just checked on my Xbox and there isn't anything new since that. Last updated 10/11/2018 version 1.0.627.291 on the Xbox.Go Lions, Tigers, Pistons, Red Wings, Wolverines!Comment

I'm guessing the store update in the patch notes was an accident? Still hasn't been updated.Comment
