Haven't played v cpu but game is a little different online. It's not so different tho. I feel like there are still too many threes and crazy dunks. Dudes can hit threes and do crazy dunks w the same guy haha. Still a lot of bs lay ups going in.
More auto steals, which you don't get credit for. I even timed a couple and didn't get credit for a steal with the snatch. Much easier to steal passes and players now have a steal field around them. Not sure how I feel about that. Haha. It's not hard to adjust. Can't zag as easily but once you get momentum to the rim it's either a block or a finish it seems. Or a rare impact.
Tbh impact shot should be like +8 or +10 instead of +4. You get +5 for boxing out on a made shot. Haha. It's hard to impact a shot and a contest means little. Yet they both give +4. Would be nice if impacted shots also lowered mentality like a block would. Just a little. Cmon.

Thanks for the update. I'm not really mad, I've been waiting for the editing in franchise anyway lol. I just didn't want the other guy to think it was just him.
I've been real impressed on the devs and how they've addressed almost every issue. Better late than never, looking at you Madden.

Played a bunch tonight and I gotta be honest I’m pretty disappointed. The interceptions are way out of control.
I’m glad they tightened up the interior but the perimeter is now messed up. The game has always played that the defense smothers you on the perimeter and the only real saving grace was that at least your passes didn’t get intercepted when you passed it around. You just can’t work the ball around anymore. Wide open jumpers were a rarity before this patch but possible by working the ball around and with drive and kicks but those get intercepted now at a high rate. I’m all for making it necessary to be careful when passing it but now your going to turn the ball over a lot no matter what you do.
Sadly this has really hurt the mid range and three point game and honestly really tarnished the “fun factor” for me.
Even worse the cpu hasn’t increased their turnovers at the same clip the user has post patch. I was between 7-12 turnovers a game pre patch and computer was 6-10. Post patch I have been around 20 turnovers a game and cpu 8.

KUDOS to the Live team for the way they react to users demands/expectations...
The day we will have a complete Online Franchise experience on Live (ala Madden by the way) will be the day I won't have to play two different basketball tittles anymore...

Ok, another potential problem. When playing with the Cavs in franchise, all their socks are this weird bright red. Even with the all black uni.
It's correct in Play Now. I'm not sure about other teams.

Something feels off to me with the standing layups, i can never tell when i should try and finish one, im a post anchor, and most times i activate a standing layup a defender usually just jumps somewhere near me and it could make it miss. Its also hard because you cant control which direction you want to finish, or what side of the board you want to go up on, its like you start the shot and just hope for the best?Comment

The CPU is wayyyyyy too good at picking off passes now. I'm an assists-first sort of player, and I'm getting dinged for ballhogging because I'm afraid to pass the ball.Comment

I appreciate the effort of the Live team proactively making changes, No doubt.
But I feel they've been progressively and have now essentially sucked all the fun out of playing with a big in Live Run with this last update. I've had my criticisms but Live was getting burn from me because of the fun factor. The stuff thats happening down low is crazy right now. The open misses, getting stuffed by shorter builds who's block ratings are low 80's. The 85 layup cap/ 88 dunk cap seem low to me for s post man. Arent the wing scorers capped around the 90's? I have a 95 post move rating but I'm getting the ball stolen instantly. Probably the least fun I've had on Live Run last night since the game dropped.
I'm not really interested in creating another build so it sucks.Comment

Not sure if anyone played on Superstar pre patch but from peoples feedback it seems like they've boosted the A.I 's steal ability from that level across all of levels now. 2ft passes werent even safe, players making lunging, diving steals all over the court, lol. They need a mechanic that has your teammates seal off the defender when making a catch.Comment
