OK first things first DAW is at 75 the BLOCK is at 10 and I'm going to watch a 12 min STATER level game and see what happens next we'll be playing the Lakers and the Bulls are at home this is CPU vs CPU for testing only.

Well its time for an update as to whats going on with the block testing and to be honest its not as easy as first thought.

First they're were still blocking with no relief insight so what I did was set all players DAW to 25 and turned all point and shooting guards block to 0.

It seems to be working a bit better still with blocks but they look legit IMO I also turned all blocks settings to 0,they still block but with a more toned down feel and look.

After several games the blocking has seemed to tone down a bit now I'm still testing on the STARTER level to see whats being affected and so far things appear to be getting better.

These are just some test to see where the CPU gets its crazy blocking schemes and "Defensive Awareness" seems to be a big factor in all of this along with slider adjustments to temper them. Still checking things out and will post some stats after the game.

Don't expect any magic formulas as this is all random and nothing is yet confirmed only the theory that DAW has an adverse and direct effect on the CPU BLOCKING.

Thats a quick update so far and up to this point you can see the defense not holding their ground by either team so a certain amount of DAW is needed but how much I don't know yet until the final buzzard and the score is climbing as you can see.

Kobe was MVP with 54 points(ouch) and his created self on the Bulls finished with 43 not bad just a lot of offense and "0" On-ball Defense wasn't to bad but should be tweak up slowly to find the thresh hold because at "0" its all good for the CPU.

Well there you have it, lowering DAW has its drawbacks at 25 on the players and its more then likely too low looking at these numbers then again the LAKERS did blow somebody out last night if I recall so its off but can be fixed to pump out somemore defense. Good news is it lowered the BLOCKING but at a cost by giving up too many points and lots of trips to the line.

These were the stats for the entire game and look only 16 total blocks...hmm I just don't know how to pin point these results some of it looks good and some of it is frightening.

Well DAW is it but like you said at the cost of higher FGs. That means to me that you have to lower the Short Range and Mid Range sliders to around 38-40.

Lets try this guys. I've been reading on other threads but set the On Ball Defense Assist to 0. Maybe that will help with the blocks. If that works they we have nothing to worry about, but if it doesn't then try setting DAW for SG, PG, and SF's to 35-40, but leave Centers and PFs at what they are. Hmm so much testing and so much work this time EA....What are we the developers LOL.

Ill see what I can come up with later, but on ball D will not stop the blocks. I have already tested this.

Hey Jpup...Yea not the On Ball Pysical D though the On Ball D Assit. Its toward the top. Its supposed to give you more "game highlights" like Peja saving the game with a block. If that doesn't work I'm clueless.
