so you'd rather have a game that is looking like NBA Elite 11 rather than one that is looking like NBA 2k11? Even if there is still a little 2 player animation still in the game i'll take that if it means the game looks like 2k as opposed to the mess that has become NBA Elite.
Has EA finally given this series an identity?

Re: Has EA finally given this series an identity?
cause it's not cool to root for a "EA" game.
When it comes to me I just love rooting for the underdog.Last edited by RayDog253; 08-31-2010, 12:53 AM.Comment

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing, but I didn't want to say anything cause it seems that they have a rebuttal for what ever you say.
There just sitting in a corner waiting to attack.....

well hope you enjoy that the give you not sure what that is since all I have to base my opinion of the game are 10 plus video clips that IMO don't show a simulation game, I don't want total control if that means that when I play with the Lakers it does not feel like I am playing with the Lakers.Last edited by coolcras7; 08-31-2010, 12:51 AM.PSN=Coolcas7Comment

Re: Has EA finally given this series an identity?
No, Elite is most definitely the under dog. If you ask a thousand people which game would sell more or be the better game over all, 75% of them would say 2k.
Just cause the company has millions of dollars doesn't mean they put it all into NBA. If they had all these resources don't you think they'd be a little closer to 2k in terms of quality? Or maybe they do but they just spend it in the wrong places. Idk, and I doubt you know for sure.
And the whole attacking comment was a little unfair so I deleted from my original post.Comment

Yeah, who knows what's going on behind closed doors over there. But I get your point.Comment

Re: Has EA finally given this series an identity?
I really have my doubts if Elite 11 will be any good but if they can stick with it and polish it and iron out all the bugs etc and improve the core gameplay it has the potential to be absolutely fantastic.
Look at the Fifa series. A few years back it seemed PES was dominating Fifa but they kept improving each year while PES seemed to regress and now Fifa is widely recognize as the better franchise of the two and WC2010 is the best soccer game i have ever played bar none.Comment

Re: Has EA finally given this series an identity?
EA is one of the biggest game developers in the world and has dominated Basketball games and have millions of dollars to put into their game every year they are in no way the underdog, no one is trying to attack people who defend EA it would be nice if your defends actually had proof behind it, its more like blind devotion at the moment.
