I rememer I was wondering if something was broke because of my 3pt % was high and I was wondering if it was just a player setting it off or if something was broke. well I wish something was broke again. or the player was still on my team. so long is last season and now on with this season. what a difference a season/player makes. my current 3 point percentage is is .250. I know longer think I have a problem. oh yeah 3 games showed me about all that tight defense. in the first round of the the NCAA tournament. got torched by a good team. first game of this season played alabama and they laughed at my tight defense and tennessee st. damn they are fast. midway during the first half after having the guards taking me off the dribble for dunks and layups. I have a new strategy. I just play regular. any way. I have to say I believe I find this game to be really satisfying. the only thing that makes me mad is that I am really a football fan and I coach football real life. looking at how good this game is I can't imagine if they were able to make a college football game. Just the potential of moving schools and starting at grambling or something. let me stop teasing myself. thanks for the tips of not changing anything.

That is good news. The impact of your strategy was evident, and that always makes the game more fun.

I agree it is VERY unfortunate that there is no 2k college football game. Their NFL game (2k5) is still the pro standard for realistic football. I would love to see them produce a college game, even without the licenses, but I understand what a risky marketing move that would be.

As for football, I would say pick up NCAA 2004 for current gen. I have coach mode sliders for PS2 and in my dynasty, I pick a lower tier school and then try and move up the ranks just like in 2k hoops. The only catch is you will only get one job offer in a season, if you get one at all, and there is no coaching carousel.

That is what I did, I picked up NCAA 2004 for $0.99. What are your coach-mode sliders? Are you using any recruiting restrictions of any kind? I just might have to start a dynasty with a MAC or Sunbelt team

Yeah, sliders, recruiting rules, everything. My recruiting rules are a little loose, just because I don't like the hassle of keeping track of all the locations, etc.

I really thought it was just a rumor when I heard this may be the last one. but then recieved an email from development team asking me for pictures of the Kohl center. anyway if this is the last one I can see it lasting for a while. I am running out of sport games to play because I will not play EA games at the level they are at. the one thing I really have a problem with is I can't choose a player to take the shot. the news is really devasting. I do think I heard the that the NBA said they will never be an exclusive license. I do wish the college team worked on the pro license or atleast the coach mode version. I guess I better get use to this game I may have it for a few years. .

If you have questions, and you sure might, please let me know. There are a lot of rules, and I tried to get it all in there, but they may not be clear. Do not be intimidated, though, because many of the recruiting rules simply will not apply in most cases. Just find your state, find your region, and the rest is pretty easy.

The main thing is have fun and be realistic. If recruiting is too easy, change something...too hard, take a rule out. What I have found over many seasons is that my recruiting class is usually tied closely to my end of season rank, which I think is fair. It will be hard to recruit to Idaho no matter how good you get, and easier to recruit to North Texas or Fresno State.

One other thing. Because I am so busy, I turned these into CPUvCPU sliders. I recruit and set depth charts, game plans, etc. It's a blast, I think, although I really want to call plays. If you call plays, you might limit your deep balls, and you might play with the CPU D sliders to make it tougher if it is not tough enough (and lower the HUM D sliders respectively).

I tried your settings and really liked them. Just about everything at the time was on spot. But now that the patch is out I wonder if you will need to adjust anything? I won't get to try it out until the weekend so if you get a chance, let me know if you make any changes.

Also curious to know if the subbing on the fly works now?

I am happy they work for you because I love them and they have been a joy. I let my membership run out so I don't have the patch. I will get a membership maybe in a week or two then I will get the patch. once I get the patch I will test it. or when you play you can let me know what you see so I can prepare myself. I am praying that the on the fly sub work. I don't understand how the testing department missed this.

I play coach mode on XBOX 360's, I'm going to try and use these sliders. I got good results for CPU vs CPU (http://forums.operationsports.com/vB...post2038087424).

I'm going to bump up fouls, that's really the only issue I had. I bumped 3PT to 49 also.
