I don't know if the results differ from simming to hoopcasting....but....I think I'll go back to hoopcasting anyhow. If you know of any differences between the two, let me know, heh.
The difference for me is the control over rotations/minutes. I've noticed when I just sim normal, my kids won't get the minutes I set for them on the rotations screen. I've had seasons where I sim the whole year and a kid I have set for like 2 mins a game ends up averaging 18 mpg. It's annoying lol, but when I do the hoopcast sim I can make sure everyone gets their minutes and can adjust who plays with who, making moves according to game situations.

Got bombed by Purdue in the sweet 16. I couldn't hit a thing & they were on fire!! Lost 92-64.

Sweet 16 was great for Sac. St.

Ouch. My boys won the Polar Bear Classic over Delaware State. Delaware State upset Oregon in the round before to reach the finals. They were only a 61 overall, but they put up a great fight. It makes me want to bring up a sub-topic question here: What teams have you had troubles playing against (at the start or later on in your legacy) that were rated below 70 overall? That goes for anyone, lol. Delaware State was probably my guys' toughest team under 70 overall...and I'm like 5 years into mine.

Good luck! I'm having a devil of a time in my career legacy. Spent 4 years at IPFW, and I'm entering my 3rd year with the Buffalo Bulls. I've had such rotten luck no matter the school though. No matter if it was IPFW or Buffalo, I can't make it past the first round of the conference tournament! It's so frustrating, but it makes me much more ready for the next year knowing how good my team did up until then. I haven't gotten an NCAA Tourney berth yet, nor have I gotten an NIT berth. It'll sound cliched, but I think THIS is the year for one or the other. All I know is that after this career legacy is finished, I'm doing an open one, lol. I don't know who I'll use, but I'll figure it out.

Yea I dont know about a powerhouse out of S. Dakota lol, cant see too many recruits wanting to play "in the middle of no where". But who knows, Im trying to build one in DC at Howard. Won the MEAC our first year & we're 10-2 so far this year..so more power to you!

On another note I was real happy that we THRASHED VCU by 32pts until I noticed they had 4 starters hurt!

We'll take W's over ranked teams anyway we can get them though!

Wow. Yeah, my guys finished last year at at 18-10, which is really the best finish I've gotten out of a team in my career legacy. I'm hoping we can be even better this year. The goal is definitely to get further in the conference tourney! No more getting bounced out of the first round, please!

Did anyone else struggle mightily their first year? I'm 3-10 heading into conference play with Robert Morris. My biggest struggle is making layups, haha.

Yea last year I headed into conference play w/ a terrible record! Long as you win your conference youre good. Even the regular season record doesnt matter all that much either. Except for seating purposes..

First year, NC schedule went well. Conference was a nightmare, and we finished 11-17 overall.....ouch....and I had like 6 or 7 wins in NC I think.

I'm in that same boat with UC Riverside. I entered Conference play with a 5-5 record, and have already dropped the first two Conference games on the road. I'm so frustrated right now, lol. It's a long season, and hopefully I can get things back on track.

In my first season with Montana St. I rely so much on shooting 3s that if the first three or so don't go in I know I am in for a long game. First game I played vs UC Santa Barbara I lost by 18 with 28% from 3s. Next game vs Alcorn St I won by 21 with 45% from 3s. Chuck em up.

I might have to take heed to this. I really don't shoot a lot of 3's. I'm still trying to adjust to the spacing or should I say lack there of in this game. That was one of my recruiting goals from the get go. Find SG's and SF's who could bury 3's.

Same here except I pound it in the paint every possession. The second I get some wing players who can consistently hit the 3..game over!
