Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!

Just finished my second season with Citadel, losing in the 2nd round of tournament to Syracuse. After the season, got offered the job at VCU, so I'm moving on. Signed a top 100, 4 star recruit, and it looks like I've inherited a pretty good team.

edit: Just played my first game with VCU, against College of Charleston, my old rival at Citadel. I just couldn't stop them down the stretch, they won on a 3 pointer with 0.4 seconds to play. First time I've lost on a last second shot, it's not as much fun this way.

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!

14-16 right now with St. Francis NY. It's been a very up and down season.

I've played about half of my games, simmed the other half. Some games Rubino goes off (27 against Manhattan, think he put up 20+ against another team in conference) and some games Rubino is non-existent. I've found as the season goes on that teams know he is my only shooter, so they play him real tight and everyone else sags into the paint making it tough for me to get any kind of looks in the paint. My defense has been completely non-existent. So any games I win comes from me simply outscoring the opponent.

My team was playing pretty well and had a winning record in non-conference when I got to the South Florida game. I played very well that game and it was tight the whole way. I had the ball down one for the final possession, set up a nice late clock play I created with a nice high ballscreen, went to hit Burton rolling to the basket for the game-winning layup, and it hits his hands and sails out of bounds. After that loss my team struggled for the rest of the season. Got blown out by a few teams including league champion Sacred Heart. I did get a nice road win at CCSU, but there were plenty of bad losses in conference.

Despite the bad losses, I managed a 6 seed in the tournament against #3 Quinipiac, who I beat twice in season. For some reason I matched up well against them and they had a tough time with my press and scoring against me. I beat them by 16 or 17. I think just reaching the NEC semis is a pretty good year for this team. I have Robert Morris next, who beat me twice in season, so I expect another loss here.

For everyone with Terrier legacies, the lineup I settled with was Womack-Williams-Rubino-Hines-Burton. Off the bench I brought Willis-Campbell-Ayeni-Gooden-Yessefou. Campbell got hurt at one point so I started to play Cadell at the 2 because I saw a St. Francis game on TV and Cadell seems to be pretty promising for them as a freshman. Also if I am not happy with any of my big men, starters or bench, then I will bring in Pekkola at the 4 or 5. Occasionally he plays well. Campbell started knocking down some three's late in the season, so I'll be gald to have him back next season.

Yeah Pekkola is totally scitzo. He'll have 2 games where he is a stat stuffer, then he'll throw a 1-12, 4 foul, clunker out there

19-14 second season @ South Dakota State, just lost by 6 to Oral Roberts in the conference tourney championship game. A few good things to take from the season could be we were once 4-10, we played very well in the conference going 15-3 and won the regular season title so we still get to go to the NIT(Play Xavier so i'm sure it'll be first round exit). I have no seniors so should I not get any good offers then I'll stick around for hopefully only one more year. In a battle with Northern Iowa for a 3* pg both are at 100% so hopefully he will make the right choice. Well here goes nothing time to take down Xavier(20-12).

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!

I just finished my first season with Northern Colorado (played all games). I finished the regular season at 17-10 overall, 11-5 in the Big Sky. I ended up with the #2 seed in the Big Sky tourney. Montana was unstoppable all year. They ended up at 21-4 in the regular season, but were upset in the conference tourney by Northern Arizona. That upset allowed me to sneak into the big dance as the conference champion; I ended up with a 12 seed. For the record, Montana picked up a 4 seed, giving the Big Sky an unprecedented 2 tourney bids.

I played #5 Pitt in the first round. The game started out OK, with the score 12-11 when I made my first substitution. The final score had me losing by 18, and it wasn't that close. Taibi made first team all conference; Archibeque made second team. Portland St's center (Morrison?) won conference player of the year. For those keeping score at home, My final four was Kansas, Auburn, Memphis, and Louisville, with Auburn knocking off Louisville for the title. Clark Kellogg predicted big things for Auburn in the selection show. Completely true.

My recruiting ended up quite average. 3 two star players. No transfers coming in or going out. My team next year looks to be offensively challenged, with only Mason and Beitzel putting up more than 6 ppg in my first year. I'm hoping Banks (returning starting PF) will be able to handle the load in the post, but he was quite inconsistent during the past season.

                    Great times.

St Francis NY, is a very fun team to use, I know alot of people like to use Rubino, I actually red-shirted him and Use Cambell who even with his 3pt rating for some reason hits them.

I also have really good success in the paint with Hines. I avg 13/11 and 3 blocks with him, so im happy with how he works out for me.

So far im 9-6, with a nice win over St Johns.

For those who were interested, after that 251-141 crap that happened, it actually ruined my file and everytime I sim past that date, it freezes my xbox. So I had to start all over. But no worries, I finished the season with only one loss with Texas State. I played it on All Conference because it was getting way too easy. Bush is a monster, he finished the regular season with 28 PPG. Had a couple of triple doubles with him as well.

Cant wait to start the tourney, I am a 5 seed vs IUPUI in the first round.

Finished my second season with Dartmouth...going 22-6 I believe. Ended up a 9th seed and had to play KSU. Once again no contest. I was a 69 ranked team...vs an 87 ranked team. I was down by 19 at the half and lost by 23.

So during the coaching carousel I got to jump to the Mountain West and take over Colorado State. They are an 81. I even got a 5* and 4* during the quick recruiting time I had. It's like night and day. My first game vs. Fresno I was up by 25 at one point and won by 32.

Just finished up my first regular season with Elon, winning a close one at home against UT-Chattanooga, 65-61. I won the Southern Conference regular season and have a 21-6 record heading into the SoCon Tournament. I have to play Chattanooga again in the quarterfinals.

Considering Texas St is a 69 overall school with the highest rated player a 70 and playing a power house schedule, All Conference isn't easy. I dont play small schools, I play larger mid majors and big 12 schools.
