Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!

Just finished the regular season/ACC Tourney. After beating UNC we had a letdown at home and lost to Va Tech, the last place team in the conference81-78. Was up 10 at halftime and as much as 11 in the 2nd half but we had a mental letdown and let them back in. Then we faced #17 Clemson at home and also lost. Was close up until the final 5 mins when they pulled away to win 94-81. Went on the road and again struggled against UVA, but straightened up to win 77-70. Finished the regular season 22-8 and 9-7 in the ACC, to finish 7th.

1st round of the ACC tourney we faced Boston College. It was a back and forth game. In the final minute we were up 3 but couldn't put the nail in the coffin. W/ 9 sec left they cut it to 1. Then on the inbounds I almost threw it away, but my PG recovered it; instead of holding I panicked and passed, and they stole it. I fouled them on a shot attempt, they made both FTs w/ 1.9 sec left to go up by 1. I had a T.O. and one last shot, but it missed and BC beat us 61-60. Total choke job.

So now onto the NCAAs losing 3 of our last 4 games. Got a 4 seed in the East Regional, play 13 seed Green Bay Wisconsin, winner to play winner of Seton Hall/Hawaii. Top 4 seeds in my regional are 1. Saint Louis 2. NC State 3. Duke 4. Wake

Also the ACC dominance continued - the other 3 #1 seeds were all out of the ACC (Miami, UNC, Maryland).

Thanks. Regardless of how the tourney turns out this year has been a success. This was a team that won only 6 games last year, and hadn't been to the tourney in 10 years. And playing in the toughest conference as a 83 OVR when most of the other teams were 93+ and still have the record we have is definitely great.

Sitting at a pathetic 4-8 heading into conference play. My team (Maine) is only rated a 69ovr (this is year 2) and we just got drilled against any team from a mid-major or better conference.

The good news is tha I can beat every team in the conference, and I think I'll end up finishing over .500. The best rated team in the conference is Binghampton (73ovr), pretty beatable. I'm hoping to win the conference, or the conf. tournament. Either would be fine. Then, there's a good chance I'll bolt.

Recruiting feels impossible at this school. Only 1 recruit from Maine this season (and he went to Uconn). The closest players are regional guys, and without a lot of points they are pretty hard to lock up. I had a pretty poor class last year, and this years isn't shaping up to be anything special. The only saving grace is that it's a terrible conference so I can compete anyway.

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!

Well i didnt save my NJIT season and instead of restarting it with them again, i ended up choosing the Brown Bears of the Ivy Leage.... so far, im glad i did. I am 5-2, with my losses coming to Loyola IL and Georgetown, and my best win being @ Northwestern by 2. Most of the good players are juniors and sophmores so i have some players to last me a few years, but maybe the best thing that coulda happened happened.... I have 3 scholarships. I was able to sign a 7'6" center from Canada! I was like **** 7'6 this is nuts ive never seen a player this tall. He was only a 2 star, and I was able to snatch ,him up for next year. He had 3 schools at 100% and had 2 offers, and took mine. Another crazy thing is that one of the players in Rhode Island, where Brown is located, is a 7'4 4-star center. All these tall people. He committed to UCONN already though. I am hoping to snag up a 3-star guard, the only player from Vermont, and as of now idk what id do with the 3rd scholarship if i get him as well. He only has me and another school and they are a bit ahead of me, and ive offered a scholarship and they havent, so as of now its not a guarentee either way.

All in all i am enjoying this team. Ive never done a legacy with an Ivy Leagye school and i think itll be interesting with the no conference tournament. Makes each game more important. This squad has a lot of 3 point shooters and not too much height, which is how i presume most the Ivy League is. Im not expecting too much yet, but maybe as I go along Ill see how good some of these players can be.

Breezed through the first two rounds of the NCAAs. Beat #13 seed UW Green Bay easily 70-54 to set up a game w/ 12 seed Hawaii, who upset Seton Hall. Controlled throughout and won 77-66 to advance to the Sweet 16 and face #1 seed Saint Louis. The other Regional SF is Duke/NC State. UNC, Maryland, and G Tech are the other ACC teams still alive.

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!

Sweet 16 vs #1 Saint Louis - controlled from start to finish and won easily 60-45 to set up a regional final against Duke.

Elite 8 vs #3 Duke - It was a close game in the 1st Half, but they led at Halftime 40-38. They came out firing in the 2nd half and stretched the lead to as many as 16. They pretty much controlled the majority of the 2nd half.

Then with the score at 78-69 with 1:50 left came one of the greatest comebacks of my career. My Freshman SG Morkeliunas hit a 3 and got fouled for the 4 pt play to cut it to 78-73. They a steal on the inbounds and layin to cut it to 78-75. Full court pressure got to Duke again and another steal and dunk cut it to 78-77 with 1:28 left. Another Duke TO and we layed it in to take the lead 79-78 with 1:11 left. Duke went for 3 and missed, we got it back and scored again to bring the lead to 81-78. Duke took the ball down and drove for the layup...but OFFENSIVE FOUL as I drew the charge. I made my FTs, a rarity for this season (18-20 from the line) and we closed it out to win 85-80 and advance to the Final Four. A 16-2 run in the final 1:50.

In the Final Four we face UCLA, the other SF is Georgia Tech/Louisville.

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!

8-2 with Brown so far. Played a lot of close games against great teams. The game i played last night against Providence was nuts and i was down 9 at the half, went up as much as 7 in the 2nd half, and won by 6 after scoring 5 points in the last 4 seconds of the game. Then i played Boston College and beat them by 1 in a back and forth game. Up one, i had a block and their PF missed 2 putback layups and coming down the court i couldnt score but wasted a lot of time, they threw up a 3 with about 2 seconds left and missed. Then i beat NJIT by double digits.

I have Baylor coming up next. Recruiting will be interesting still. I dont think Ill be getting the PG from Vermont, as Vermont offered a scholarship and are ahead of me fairly good on his list. There is a very short PG from Rhode Island Im looking at. He is a 3 star and with my starting PG being a senior and my backup being somebody i dont shoot much with when he is in, it is important i can get a solid one that will probably be my starter from the get go, along with my giant 7'6" center i have coming in. I feel like my team next year as long as i can get a good PG, will be one of my favorites for a legacy while still being at the same school I started at

quick question is there a way where i can create recruits and then assign them to ABL teams?

There isn't a way to assign created recruits to teams, but if you create them as a HS FR, SO, or JR they usually play for an ABL team the year after you create them.

lost to Baylor in a disappointing loss. Was up 2 at the half, all of a sudden Baylor went on a 12-0 run at one point, and I never got it closer than 5 after that. Im 8-3 going into conference play, and since there is no conference tournament, every game matters. The next 2 games are both against Yale, who is a team I should be able to beat both times

^^ for recruiting i just find some players i feel like i have a shot at getting and are people i need, and spend the whole season recruiting them. I usually dont sign too many ppl in signing week, but this year i was lucky to snatch the 7'6" beast that i cant wait to use next year with my Brown squad. Even if i seem to be out of the running, i just keep emailing or phoning them or whatever just cuz u never know. Plus, once the season is over and you have the 5 weeks to snag up any last people, usually you can get somebody better than you originally looked at cuz ppls choices change as other schools have no more scholarships to offer. The key is though to try and go for ppl without offers, because even if you are behind a few schools, they may never offer a scholarship and you can get em

My Brown squad had one of my best wins on this game. I was down as much as 17 in the first half to Columbia (AT HOME where i believe i am still undefeated) and juts couldnt do anything right. I slowly came back and finally with under a minute left, took a 2 point lead. Columbia scored a basket and with not much time left, i perfectly executed a play to my big man, who blows the layup. In overtime, it was as back and forth as it gets, but i made 2 huge substitutions that gave me the win. One player i subbed in was my starting PF. He had 4 fouls before OT and when he came in, he had 3 blocks and a steal (he has had a key block in most my close wins). The other was my 6th man who has led my team in scoring multiple times. He scored 10 in the last 2 minutes of OT that secured myself a victory. Im 12-3 I think right now and undefeated in Ivy League play, which is big. I feel like my team is capable of a win or 2 in the NCAA tournament if i get there because Ive had some very nice wins against good teams and kept close with the ones i lost to. And, with a 7'6" giant coming in and hopefully a 3 star PG, I will have most my key players returning next year on a team i believe will be much better than the one i have now. I could be staying at Brown for a while

Just manage (AD/CPUvsCPU Mode) my Southern Jags to their back to back conf tourny champinship...17-14 in our previous year but this year is magical!

We are currently a Cinderella as we have back to back buzzer beating victories in the NCAA Tourny upsetting a #3 seed (Marshall) and a #6 seed (Northeastern)...

Our next opp is GT a #7 seed in the Sweet Sixteen, we should lose big to them because of the height disadvantage...We match up well against the two Non Powers in our previous games.

My Record is 24-13 and we are listed as a 14 seed

                                Starting 5 OVR's are:

                                5'11 PG- 75 Jr (5apg)
                                6'2 SG- 60 Jr (top scorer, 100+ 3's made; 40% 38% from 3)
                                6'4 SG- 64 Soph (47% from 3)
6'7 PF- 77 Sr (transfer; pick and pop guy)
6'7 Pf- 75 Jr (my anderson varejo; loves the pick n roll)

The 2 60 rated G's are my leading scorers believe it or not! 15ppg and 13ppg, both are pretty good 3pt shooters but thats all they really can do.

This is our second season running a uptempo/40 mins of hell playing style!

Major turnaround as my team was a bottom feeding in the conf, we even went 0-25 before!

Next season should be even better!
(even tho we might not go this far in the tourny)
