Great videos Ruben. I have to say this is the best basketball game I've ever played. The legacy mode is so amazing, and is the reason I'm still playing it today.

I just saw an awesome cross over(cpu vs cpu)

the guard used the screen set by the PF but it was unsuccesful so the guard pulls back at the 3pt line(top of the arch) like he's going to set up a play but instead he does a quick simple left hand to right hand cross over for a clear lane to the basket...LoL the defender was beat by a mile!!!

Played an awesome exhibition game this morning with Syracuse (me) vs. Georgetown at the Carrier Dome. Hibbert absolutely DOMINATED the interior; he had 8 offensive rebounds (15 total) to go along with 12 points and 4 blocks. I had a 1-point lead at the half thanks to Donte' Greene going off (I'm using RomanCeasar's 07-08 rosters) but the Hoyas took advantage of the 2-3 zone in the 2nd half, got hot from 3 and won the game by 9 points, 70-61.

I think I'm going to start up a Legacy with SU. They are in a tough conference and are short-handed due to Rautins being out for the year and no real bench depth (only 8 guys see the floor).

only difference is im on all conference. surprisingly its still a challenge. but maybe thats on me, the user.

I just had a defensive showdown against Delaware with IPFW. Both teams shot around 34%. I ended up losing as my go to player was extremely fatigued from being my only scorer all night.

the basketball IQ of this AI is just something else. the animations at the end of the day get the job done perfectly. It may not look perfect as some players bodies go through other parts, but you can live with that sort of stuff with what the true trade off is when you have that control.

Played my legacy tournament since I didn't have internet. Every game kept me on the edge of my seat towards the end. The final game ended up being #4 West Virginia vs. freshly #1 ranked UConn. Final minutes of the 2nd half and with the shot clock dead my bench SG hit a double teamed 18 footer to tie the game and went to overtime. We ended up winning with 32 bench points to keep the starters from fatigue.
These types of games make me soo sad that we are still waiting for another CHoops. On the other hand, if it is anything like 2k10 I would have to (lead lol) pass on it. Just have to hope for another 2k College game AGAIN!!

I am amazed at 2k's ability to lauch 3 of the best games ever and stop making all 3. NFL 2k5 not their fault they can't make more. APF 2k8 we need another, and this classic will never leave my collection untill they make another.

Thanks for posting those sliders RD and Auburn for doing the sliders. I've played about 5 games so far with them and am having an absolute blast. I'm in year 2016-17 with a closed legacy and finally reached my dream job at Michigan. I just got creamed on my late season trip to UCONN and it was so much fun watching my guys struggle. I wasn't getting near the great shooting percentages as I am now.

this game STILL owns my soul even after getting both live and nba 2k10.. this game just does so much right, i cant turn it down when I have free time.

time now will shift to posting and creating some videos as i promised. i was sidetracked with the WIP games of nba2k10 and live10. both fun but you have to let yourself go with some stuff, which you DONT in ch2k8. this game has it all imo.

i just saw a nice contextual foul animation. I simply pressed Y as I was about to get dunked on, and instead of doing NOTHING like a nba2k10 would likely do, I push the guy and cause FTs//// Pure BLISS right here

For some reason I decided to mosey into this forum and am now on my way to pick up a previously played version from gamestop for 8 bucks. I may even pick up another copy of all-pro.

Jukeman's got some Coach mode sliders posted that will work well for you. As far as APF goes, it's a fun game but is very shallow offline. Still, you can find it for $5 so it's probably worth it.

Just had a heck of a battle between Loyola-MD with Toledo Rockets.

Down 17 at half, I couldnt stop their three point shooting. as a team they shot 65% at half. I was getting heated. I stepped it up though and chipped away at their lead. WIth no inside prescence on either side it was truly all offensive back and forth. I got within 2 at one point. Every possession mattered and it was emotional out there.... But soon my run came to an end and I lost the momentum. CPU took advantage and spread the lead to 12 points.
