Season opener at home versus Chattanooga, DJ White picks up three fouls in the first two minutes and Gordon is cold, I'm missing FTs with everyone - and of course the Mocs are on fire. I'm trailing 30-6 halfway through the opening half. After using three timeouts and both my POE's I give Gordon a breather for a few minutes and then put him back in. He goes on a 15-0 run by himself, hits a 3PT at the buzzer to end the half in which he scores 22 points and hits 4-4 from three. I'm trailing 47-33 though, still a long ways to go but I've got momentum.

With DJ White back in the second half and my offense in a good rhythm finally I'm scoring at will but still struggling to stop them. I keep cutting the lead to four but they push it back up to eight time and time again. There's five minutes left and Gordon only has five second half points but then he takes over, hits three triples and scores 14 pts in the final five minutes to give me a seven point victory. Gordon finished with 41 points, 15-29 from the field, 8-11 from deep, 3-6 FT. Crazy game, down 30-6 to end up winning by seven.

So the game ends, I go to check the national leaders to see who else had a huge scoring night to start the season and of course the game freezes.
Damn, I started one up back them with Indiana 2 just based on those 2 guys. Then I remembered how much I hated the Big 10.

I'm thinking about trying to bring Arkansas or UNLV back into the nat'l spotlight.

Just started a Dartmouth closed legacy with updated 09-10 rosters. I' am getting my butt handed to me, and every game is a struggle. Turnovers and too many missed shots are killing me. My last game though was an absolute heartbreaker, was up 19 to end the first half. Score was 35-16 with my 2-3 zone stopping everything inside and my opponent shooting like .111% from the field. But then I get lit up for 50 something points and lose by 10 hahah. Only in the ivy league.

Jumped back in my Wake legacy last night. Currently ranked 9th sitting at 22-3 (8-1). I'm behind UNC (8th) who I beat but I can't really complain because outside of Duke & UNC I haven't beaten one ranked team. I lost to Michigan, Syracuse, and NC St in OT.

First game is @ GT. I gave 'em their throwbacks and their team is pretty good. Favors is gone but they have Shumpert, Udofia, Lawal, and Glen Rice Jr. Game was pretty tight throughout but I pulled away late off the play of AF1 and his 23pts with a nice effort from Teague (14pts).

Up next is UVA before I head to UNC and Dook back-to-back.

This is back in my rotation as well. The only thing that bothers me now is the floor spacing and the smallish court size, especially after playing EA's titles. Just too jumbled together.

I know there is no fix for this, but maybe others are using a certain camera angle that best displays the court and makes it seem wider? Any suggestions are welcome. :-)

Poster, the best I've been able to do is have the speed on 75/5 and use the 2K Cam or the High cam. Spacing is decent, much better than default but much worse than either of EA's basketball games.

                I agree with ehh.

I use Nosebleeds but the spacing can get a little cramped on the top of the screen at times. The High cam is pretty good though. I use it vs teams that play zone because I feel like it gives you the best spacing.

Re: This game owns my soul.

yep. thats helped quite a bit. the "spacing" may not always be there like the other games, but the CPU reaction time is lessened a bit it appears, as the ball now travels faster and the player speeds are slowed down. youll have some guys go for blocks and contested shots that they shouldnt but now im seeing alot more separation in the actual shot attempt vs. contest the shot phase.

just like real life, the OFFENSIVE player seems to have the 1/2 to full second of time to pull off their move, as the DEFENSIVE player has to react. I dont see an instant reaction anymore.

maybe its all placebo but 4 games in with the 75-5 speed edit, im not neccerisarily seeing better SPACING but its now all about correct reaction times.

I got about 30 replays to go through that has some of this being done.

I played some more last night with the speed changes. It really opens up for the dudes who have the "speed" skill and makes my guards useful again. I'm really pumped about that. My star SF missed a few shots to start and went cold and it was a terrible time trying to get him back on track

Definitely true, the 75/5 doesn't effect the spacing, nothing can really. It's part of the engine that we can't change.

The 2K or High cam does help with spacing in terms of the player-to-court size ratio simply looking better from that angle for some reason. So maybe it's just an illusion but for whatever reason it looks better at that angle.

That's probably the best part about the 75/5 thing, speed/slasher types are much more effective. It helps open the mid-range game up too.

Agreed, the 75/5 setting made this a new game for me. I was already perfectly happy but now it's even better.

Poster I think I use a plain old broadcast cam of some kind, I'll have to check.

Thanks everyone. I have used ehh's 75/5 setting and like it. Sometimes running the break seems odd, but still all good.

Jistic, I like Broadcast the best and have been using that. Great for playing D for me, running O can sometimes be a pain. I thought I read that one of the sky or high cam's was better for seeing the court at a different angle and making it seem wider by view/perception. Will mess with the suggestions tonight.

Same here, just started using the 75/5 speed setting and I love it.

Does anybody here ever get more than 4 fast break points a game? The only time I can get a 2 on 1 is when the opposing team presses me, which is to easy to break.
