Whatever the lowest height is (so 1 or 10, can't remember) and I think 8 for zoom. I'll check later tonight.

Thanks for the reply. I messed around with it a bit and found settings where it doesn't lag at all. Thanks for the tip

Re: This game owns my soul.

I was all set to buy EA's NCAA BBall game off the presentation alone.

        Then I played the demo....eh.

Gameplay and animations both leave me with a "eh" feeling.

Then I see there is no Preseason Show, no weekly highlight shows, rarely do the commentators say player names (all this ala Countryboy).

Now...I might rent it, but I'll be perfectly content marching along in my current 2k8 legacy and/or grabbing one of the great 2k8 2009-2010 roster updates and starting another.

This game is too good, even 2 years later, to leave behind IMO. It does too much right.

Wasn't a big fan of the demo either. I like the overlays/swipes for CBS and ESPN but the commentary was pretty weak. So far from the early impressions, I think I'm about ready to fire up a new legacy.

Re: This game owns my soul.

I'm buying it tomorrow to supplement it with 2K8, I like the gameplay quite it and the controls are amazing. It does some things very well gameplay-wise that CH2K8 is weak in. I'll still be spending a lot of time with 2K8 this winter though because I'm sure NCAA 10 will grow stale relatively quickly.

Anyway, I finished Year 3 in my UConn dynasty today.

Lost to Georgetown in the Big East semi-finals by 31. Yes, 31. They are the best team I've seen yet in 2K8. Monroe is a junior and a 93 overall, they have a Monroe-clone sophomore center (also a skilled lefty) who's an 87, Chris Wright is a 90 and basically an Iverson clone, no one on my team could stay in front of him and Austin Freeman is like an 85 and pretty nasty for a 4th option. Defensively they are ridiculous esp in the paint with Monroe and their sophomore center.

My sharpshooting sophomore SG and 2nd leading scorer (led the Big East in 3PT made and had 18 threes in his last two games) got hurt in the very first minute of the game. Alex Oriakhi (leading scorer, 17 & 8 per game) was in foul trouble the entire game and played only 11 minutes. My freshman SF who's my sixth man was already out for three weeks (so basically the rest of the year) with a knee injury. I had a sorry excuse for a team out there most of the time, two leading scorers played a total of 12 combined minutes. It was rough.

G'Town went on to beat WVU to win the BET title.

So on to the Big Dance, I got a 4-seed and beat Nicholls State handily in the first round. Second round I got 5-seed Ohio State, Evan Turner was still there so I figured it'd be a tough game.

I came out real strong, led 20-8 and was really clicking on offense despite the fact that my sophomore SG was ice cold. Slowly but surely OSU climbed back into the game, I was up 5 at the break but OSU had momentum.

They came out strong in the second half and took a seven point lead with five minutes left, my sophomore SG at this point in time was 0-14 from the field and 0-9 from three. Seven of the nine 3PA were great looks, wide open looks. I assume he had a nagging injury from the G'Town game, I don't know what else would explain such a bad performance.

Anyway, I cut it to three with under :30 to go and got a great look from deep by Jamal Coombs-McDaniel but he missed the shot and OSU sealed the deal at the FT line. My soph SG finished 2-16 from the field, 2-12 from deep.

So Year 3 ended in disappointing fashion after back-to-back National Titles to start my legacy. My team should be loaded next year, got the 3rd best recruiting class and that was before I edited in Andre Drummond (#1 player in the 2011 Class IRL, and CT native). I return almost everyone of relevance including my top four scorers.

Re: This game owns my soul.

well well well.. I had some time tonight to get in one game with the new game speed set at 75. the ball seems to move kinda fast at first but I got used to it and it was some impressive gaming. I had fun, but ultimately lost the game. My team couldnt hit FTs..

I'll edit my post in the morning with some stats. I think I saved 30 replays lol. Lots of HARD fouls. even some no calls on hard fouls. I was impressed

I like playing with low mid majors, so I did Georiga Southern @ Northern Arizona.. It was close at half, But I got blown out.

I didnt see as much wackiness as I posted above with the gamespeed at 52. here it was much more smooth all around. really no blown assignments out of the realm.

I'll get a 5-6 game blast tomorrow afternoon and post everythingin here

Well looks like I am coming back home CH2k8. Hopefully I can find a copy out there in the wilderness.

I haven't played this game for nearly 2 years....
But all of the sudden, I find myself wanting to re-purchase this title. I actually ENJOYED EA's NCAA Basketball 09 title last year and I was pretty set on getting it this year especially with the new TV style presentation ( you can't beat CBS presentation w/ Gus Johnson and Bill Raftery)...but I must admit, I am starting to miss this game all over again. I am pretty disappointed that the Dynasty mode went pretty much un-touched in NCAA bball 10 from last year's effort. I do miss my weekly highlight shows, pre-season tourneys not named the Maui Invitational, and most of all the Pre-season show and Selection Sunday show. I think I may go ahead and re-purchase this game (for a much cheaper price mind you) instead of plopping down another $60 for NCAA Basketball 10.

Besides, this might give me an opportunity to add to my coaching career win total (I think I am at 83 so far!!). Bobby Knight, I'm on your trail!!

Man, I just remember how much fun it used to be on OS during this time of year when CH would be released. Its nothing like that anymore. I miss the good 'ol days!

Makes up for the four game winning streak I had against them in Years 1 & 2.

Their squad was insane in Year 3 though, Chris Wright was so quick and drained threes, he was the biggest problem even morseo than Monroe. I lost to them by 20 or so in DC during the regular season, the BET game was just comical because of my injuries and foul trouble.

They ended up losing in the Final Four to Oregon BTW. They were a #2 seed, beat #3 Duke in the Sweet 16 and Monroe had 39 points, 19-20 from the FT line. Oregon went on to win it all, which was kinda cool because that's who I beat for the title in Year 2. They bounced back and made it all the way this time.

LOL. In my 1st dynasty with Gtown I lost to Gonzaga in double-OT in Year 1 and Oregon in Yr2.

I think I'm going to start another Gtown one this weekend. 1st order of business, installing a real offense.
