I must have seen something about this game somewhere and googled and found this thread. After reading a couple of hundred items in the thread, I too had to go out and buy this game. I live in a smaller town and we had only two in the whole city (both at different Gamestops). I went out and bought both of them. I have had the game about 10 days and, seriously, have been playing/coaching/watching games in my closed legacy every day for at least 8 hours per day!

I love so many things about this game. It is absolutely the best Coach game I have played by far! Right now I am in my re-started Closed Legacy as Coach of the Texas State Bobcats. As I type this I am watching the game of the week, Duke vs Pitt at Pitt ( both teams ranked in the top 10). 14 minutes left in the second half, and duke is up 51 to 38. I love that I can watch any game in the season for any team.

I started my first Closed Legacy at Texas State using the rsr33 rosters available from 2K share. They are really good rosters, but the more I read about RaiderFan's rosters I knew I needed to restart my Legacy and use those rosters. I got a guy at work to get the game and he is starting his Texas State Closed Legacy at the same time, both using RaiderFan's rosters.

My Bobcats are doing pretty well, we are 4-5, going into Dallas to face SMU for our next game and then we start conference play.

I am not kidding when I say that I will be playing this game for the next 10 years. The only game that has come close to this for me was ESPN NFL 2K5. I remember getting up early (4 AM) before work to get a game in on that one.

I'm gonna start watching some games in my legacy...was watching a bit of a top 5 matchup between UCLA and WSU the other night and this is probably the best CPU vs CPU game I've seen. So every year from now on I'll probably watch the Nat'l Championship game in my legacy. (If I'm not playing in it lol)

Hey everyone, in 2k8 can you update the conferences? I'm an Ohio State fan and would like to have Nebraska in the Big Ten now. I am very new to even thinking about purchasing 2k8 (if I can even find it). I've played NCAA 10 and liked it but it wasn't very "fluid". I've been playing NBA 2k12 and love that. I can deal with lower graphics if the game play is good.

you can swap teams, but you cannot just add or subtract teams from the conferences

Thanks!. I did come across this after my initial post but it still doesn't solve the issue since you can't expand conferences. For the small price tag, I may still buy it, download the 11-12 rosters and see how it plays. I'm a bit spoiled on graphics right now with NBA2k12 but I'm all for playability!

Has anyone looked into creating a Roster Editor for this game? Much like how one exists from Vlad for 2K11? That would save us so much time in terms of editing rosters.

Colts I agree. Also, if it would allow for the editing of coaches and their ratings it would make updated rosters infinitely better.

Man if we could edit coaches and add/remove teams from conferences without haven to swap teams this game would never leave my xbox.

I've been alternating between CH2K8, NBA2K12, BF3 and MW3 as I think it's time for me to give up on video football.

I played the first game of my career legacy with College of Charleston. Played locked on the PG with all of the coaching options set to auto so it was like I was a player on the team. It was SOOO much fun. Beat Tulane in our first game 46-44. I scored about 10 points total from the PG position. Had a couple steals and got some dimes.

Still a great game over 4 years later.

Well I'm in the 13th year of my legacy, and there's only one team I CANNOT beat regardless of who they have - Clemson. Their full court press/trap always leads me to turn over the ball a ton, then they push the ball so fast up the court and are always stacked w/ shooters and a dominant big man...they are my Achilles' Heel. I must have played them at least 10 times between my time at North Texas (played them and lost in the Elite 8) and Wake and have won only one, which was last year. Just played them now and got smoked at their place. The most frustrating team for me to play, by far.
