The rest of presentation is awesome, from school gyms, to bands, etc and also the band's music, commentators etc and the gameplay is just perfect.

sometimes during a timeout after i've gone on a big run i just sit there and listen to the drumline play and i get really pumped up lol sounds stupid but it really adds to the experience for me

Add custom chants and youre good to go. I like how you can create chants for very specific situations. Now just wish they had team chants for HOME games only

ya i mean i cant say there are any sports games like CH2k8 that im still playing. of course, if there was a new version we'd all be doing that, but this game is great still.

I mean the sports games that come out yearly get kinda stale because usually there isnt enough changes to make it worth while. The only one ive bought every year is NBA 2K since 2k6. Madden is every few years, NHL is like once every 3 or 4, Fifa is fairly often as well, and i havent bought NCAA football in a few years, although i got great play from the last one i owned. Even so, I have played college hoops more than all of those i had with the exception of when nba 2k10 was out because i didnt have an xbox in my dorm so i couldnt play a legacy, but we had a nba 2k10 association with a bunch of us that i played a lot

CH2K8, I wish they could make a new one, but at the same time, it doesnt bother me at all because this is a great game, there are new rosters, and once college basketball season has started, this is my game every year

While I did enjoy the heck out of this game for a few years, after playing NBA 2K11 it is really hard to go back and play this game. NBA 2K11 gameplay wise blows this game out of the water IMO.
I did start a new legacy in 2k8 but I sim all the games and do all the other stuff.

I foolishly skipped over buying this game back when it came out. I actually had to order it over amazon, that's how bad I wanted it. Now I've got it, and I'm never letting go!!! started a dynasaty with VMI and 2010-11 rosters. My team has been shooting up three balls like nobody's business, and if I remember correctly, we are 4-2 (losing to Michigan State and Ohio State). I am simulating the rest of the season, see where the tournament goes, and try my hand at the new type of recruiting (so much more familiar with NCAA March Madness 06's recruiting, yes I'm still playing THAT too lol). This game (anad forum topic) owns my soul. Seriously, I stayed up last night reading through it!! Anyway, I can't wait for 2011-12 rosters next year for this game. I hope people are still dedicated enough to make rosters in the future.

So I am on here all the time and really never post anything. I enjoy reading alot of others dynasties. I have decided to post my new dynasty after having the game on PS2 and now purchasing xbox360 and rebuying the game I started an IU dynasty because of their struggles at the moment. I made a roster move by putting jones on the bench because he was a chucker and wasn't mixing with the team well after the 1st couple of games. I slowed down to half court game with focus on defense and rebounding and seemingly found the right combination for this team because they have played great. I started off the season winning the 1st nine games and finishing the season 22-8 and ranked #9. I go into Big ten tourney and lose 1st game to Minnesota. I go into tournament as #4 seed and play St. Bonaventure and it was a grueling tough game and I won 76-67. The next game #12 Toledo which I blow out 80-62. Now the test against Virginia Tech which came into the Tourney as the overall #1 seed and what a game. I was up 42-34 at the half and then 55-47 and was looking to blow it out but V.Tech came roaring back and took 6 point lead. The hoosiers kept coming with their great ball movement and hitting the 3 ball (13 for the game) and end up winning after a miss by V.Tech w/ 8 secs. left 80-78 hoosiers. I am doing CPU vs CPU and the only thing I do is manage the roster and recruit. I am using jukemans cpu sliders and I believe truegameplays roster I think.. Just wanted to post a great opening season again. I love this game as well as the rest of you!!!

lol I love when my opponent does that after a 3 or something because I hurry down the floor and get it to my guy that was defending the douchebag who celebrated their made shot hahaha.
