Can't you download the update, download rosters after that, start a dynasty, then delete the update? Won't you then not experience any of the update problems in your dynasty and have rosters/schedules?

Re: Weekly Dynamic Update Discussion
i'm not sure how that would work. i think once you download the update and start the dynasty the update will be in the dynasty regardless of deleting the update (which is only deleting your game profile)...explain why it might work the way you're talking about...thanks for the feedback.MLB: Chicago Cubs
NCAA Hoops: Georgetown Hoyas
NBA: Los Angeles Lakers
NFL: Kansas City Chiefs
NCAA Football: Nebraska Cornhuskers
HS Football: Rolla High School Bulldogs '95 (12-1)

Re: Weekly Dynamic Update Discussion
It was just a thought. My theory is that the update isn't tied into rosters and its in your profile, so if you start a dynasty with whatever rosters and get yourself a new profile, your dynasty shouldn't be effected.Comment

Re: Weekly Dynamic Update Discussion
I really would like to know why it plays differently after the update, because I want the updates, but not the way the game plays after I get it. You just can't tell the difference between a Georgetown and a Delaware State.Huskers | Chelsea FC | Minnesota United | OmahaComment

Re: Weekly Dynamic Update Discussion
Not sure about you all, but I'm not too confident in EA's "updates." I didn't see much, if any, improvement with player ratings. Yeah, it's all good and well that they update the top 25 and team statistics, but I want player ratings to be accurate. I'm finished, for now, with an early season roster re-rate so check it out in EA Locker. Filename is Jason2112Update.Comment

Re: Weekly Dynamic Update Discussion
The main area of my re-rate project was 3 point ratings because as you all know, they are all messed up. I did not go through every single player in the game, but I went through most starters and definitely all the important players in the game. They had Louisville's Reginald Delk like a 50 something from 3-pt range. He is shooting 61 percent from 3-land in 5 games and averaging 1.6 made 3s per game so I put him in the 90s. (Can't remember exactly what I rated him, but I know it was 90 something.) This is just one of the many examples I run across. I can't promise you that I have Nicholls St. (if theyre even in the game) or Eastern Washington's ratings exactly correct, but I can promise you that this roster is light years ahead of the default roster. Also, I can't speak for the new update that should come out today. Who knows? Maybe EA will surprise us?Comment
