Definitely, its the one thing that really gets me really aggravated at this game. You know every time they go to the line, their hitting their freethrows.

That is because you have ft difficulty at 22, this is way too low.
I have mine at 60 and the cpu shot 8-14 vs me last night.
Moving the ft slider up makes it harder for you and the cpu to make fts.

I ended up losing 88-74 to Maryland. The Terps shot 8-28 from 3pt land. Maybe I'm seeing what I want to see but since the update the game plays differently. I got hammered on the boards 47-33. FT's were even at 12 apiece. I shot 41% to there 45% fg's. This game played out very well imo.

The 3 pt attempts vary from team to team and has nothing to do with the new update.
I played two games last night the first vs Michigan, they shot 22 3's. The second game was against Prairie View and they shot a total of 5.

That may be the case, but for me the cpu has not been hardly taking any 3's during the time I've had the game. All of a sudden it is happening now which in my case is worth mentioning.

JSky, are you playing out of the box or with slider adjustments?

I'm using Authentic's original slider set, along with the community rosters/Dynamic update and the game plays pretty good. Exceeded my expectations for this game.

Playing All Conference, with only fatigue at 100, the AI misses a LOT of free throws. Granted it was a smaller school (Cal State Northridge). However, even Kent State missed a lot of Free Throws.

I'm using Authentic's original slider set, along with the community rosters/Dynamic update and the game plays pretty good. Exceeded my expectations for this game.

I am using the exact same settings as you and still am not seeing the cpu shoot many 3's.

Duke was raining threes on me last night Heck as far as I know they still may be shooting. It was ugly.

Since the update, the overlays show Ole Miss in the sec east and Vandy in the sec west. Idk if it switched them anywhere else or not tho

Ahhh ok, thanks for the heads up. Funny thing is, when you drop your freethrows slider down to 20 the red meter goes REALLY fast, and it always made it much more difficult for me to shoot freethrows. So I just assumed because of that, that the slider worked the opposite way. I have it set at 58 and am getting some good results, thanks again.

Is anyone else here besides me staying as far away as possible from these "dynamic updates"? They seem to be doing more harm than good. Would you even really need them if you were strictly a dynasty mode player (like myself)?

I for one have not seen one "negative" effect from the update from yesterday.
Why are you staying away? What did the update yesterday do to make the game worse?
For me the only thing it did was give me the real schedules which I love!
Again I would be interested to hear what harm this update did.

I started my dynasty the same day I bought the game. After the DNA screwups of Live I was not going to take any chances on EA screwing this game up so I could not play it. I am not a big fan of the so called authentic schedules because there not correct to begin with and won't be until all D-1 teams are in the game anyway. I did notice after I downloaded the dynamic updates that I could get the new plays in my pre exsisting dynasty. So if you want the new plays just don't download the updates until you start a dynasty because I have not notice my dynasty being screwed up in anyway and I can get the new plays but not the gaem changing experience people have notice.

Is the recruiting points bug not associated with yesterday's update? I've seen people saying that they hardly have any recruiting points since the update. I also read where some people downloaded the update and it messed up their rosters somehow. I don't know if any of this is true or not as I am too afraid to find out for myself. Is the only benefit of downloading the update having the authentic schedules? Please excuse my ignorance...I never really knew exactly what dynamic updates was for in the first place as it wasn't really a big selling point for me.
