I read on a few papers here in NY that Warrick looked terrible in his Knick workout. They said he had no offense at all. I will find the link. I also heard Taft has looked horrible in his workouts and Wayne Simien abused him in one on ones.

I've been following the pre-draft news very closely.

Direct quote from the NY Daily News

The Knicks came away unimpressed from Hakim Warrick's workout. They were astounded at the ex-Syracuse star's poor level of conditioning and also wondered what he can do other than dunk and run the floor.

Draftcity.com is a really good draft site. I also visit basketballboards.net all the time. Hoopshype.com has the workout schedules on there too.

Duece, it's good to see you guys give Eddie Basden a workout. I hope he has a good shot in the league, because I think he was nationally underrated last year. C-USA fans were the only ones who really noticed his game.

I never heard of him before, but draftcity said he is a good defender, with no offensive game.

I read the scouting report on him, and they were pretty much 100 percent correct. I could see him coming off the bench as a spark a la James Posey, Eddie Jones.

3rd answer sumed it up for the bobcats. Im predicting Felton and Wright if there is no trade. I think Ike Diogu might be the steal of the draft. I think he would be good on the Nets. They need scoring on the block.

Duece I also heard Taft got totally OWN3D in his head to head workout against Ike Diogu, They said it was to the point where it had just gotten embarrasing. From the report Ike just kept on scoring and scoring and scoring on Taft, and on defense he blocked his shots and basically shut him down all day.

I guess I'd be ok with Felton and Wright, altough I wanted to pick up another big because Primo is weak. Plus, Wright may get picked before our 13th pick, which in case I would want Sean May.

I think Julius Hodge will be the steal of the draft. He has gotten better every year, and I see him playing point guard in the NBA. He would be good on NY, since he's from Harlem and he could be a point guard, allowing Steph to move to the 2.

Any word on Channing Frye? I'm hoping the Knicks land him.

That Warrick stuff for some scary reason doesn't suprise me. He and Taft both got the label of being lazy as many draft sites were saying.

You were right. This is from Chad Ford.

The reviews have been mixed. Teams love the athleticism and pedigree, but he plays so effortlessly that it often looks like he's coasting. He worked out vigerously for an hour alongside the 76ers' Andre Iguodala on Tuesday -- and barely broke a sweat. Despite the appearance, Grover says Warrick's one of the hardest workers in the gym.

Warrick was in Charlotte on Monday working out for the Bobcats. After the workout GM Bernie Bickerstaff complimented Warrick on his improved mid-range jumper. He wasn't kidding.

Warrick barely missed from inside 18 feet today. His shooting mechanics are silky smooth. He gets such great lift on his jumper that its going to be hard to stop at the pro level. The only real knock is that he hasn't developed real NBA 3-point range ... yet.

                            ...

Grover had him up to 228 before workouts began. But he's already dropped back down to 220. That's still an 18-pound improvement from when he came in. That's right -- he came into Grover's weighing 202 pounds.

Grover believes Warrick eventually will weigh around 235, but Warrick has to keep drinking his protein shakes.

Raptors are high on Graham Felton have worked out Jack,Nate Robinson and Hodge as well. We have 2 picks and have many options. At 7, Babcock is gonna take either Wright, Graham or Granger. If Green falls(unlikely) we will take him...

With the 16th pick, we could go with Bynum, haven't ruled out Taft, Martell Webster,Warrick. I'm hoping Graham falls to 16, bu his workouts have been amazing.
