Bosh isn't going anywhere. Not anymore at least. Babcock came out and said resigning him wasn't a priority. Embry is only the temporary GM.

First and foremost, secure Bosh. All star for years to come and getting better every game.
Bring back Mike James if realistic..a hard nosed player who can shoot the lights out and play some pretty good d.
Go after free agents like Nene and Peja. Nene has a former connection with Toronto (translator I think), while Peja would feel welcomed by the huge Serbian community here. Foreign players like these are far more likely to enjoy Toronto than most American born players...
Great deal for the Raps....and as for the Knicks, it gives hope to all armchair GM's who say "I could do a better job than him!"...When it comes to Isiah, it's most likely true.Comment

Re: Jalen to Knicks
I think I understand why Thomas make this move. If he kept Davis, nothing will change at the end of the season, NY (I think) will still be over the cap. If he trade for Rose, he will get a 1st round with it (maybe get a diamond in the rough like Ginobli) and Rose can kiss his tail after next season ends. Big Ben is (I heard) the only star avaialble in the FA market and most likely DET will kept him.
What was horrible was when NY throw in a first rounder on the Eddy Curry trade. It was horrible, Curry is not the answer NY is looking for. But whoever they will pick with that 1st round next year might just be a big help. They will probably be in the top 10 in the draft. I don't know though if the first round NY throw in CHI is a protected one. Hopefully it is. If it isn't, Thomas should be whack big time for it. If anything, I would trade Crawford for cap space and throw in a 2nd rounder if I must. Trade Marbury (together with a 2nd rounder) for a 1st rounder and cap space also. Ooppss, I think I got carried away. Too much NBA 2K6.Comment

Re: Jalen to Knicks
I dont understand this trade. Why would the Knicks let go of Antonio Davis, a big, something that is of much more value in the Eastern Conference? Why trade for Jalen Rose, somehow who has already reached their pick, not to mention the Knicks have plenyt of guards?-Jay Illestrate, Emcee/Producer/Graphic Artist

Re: Jalen to Knicks
As a Knicks fan I like this trade. Jalen may or more likely not help this team reverse its luck this season or even next season, but with the Knicks current cap situation an expiring contract will do nothing. This way the Knicks get another 1st round pick after gettting 3 last year the Knicks have 2 this year, not great ones but 2 none the less.
Then next year when Jalen's deal is expiring Isiah will probably do the same thing again to get another draft pick or a better player that doesn't fit in a team and makes alot of money ala how he got Marbury.
I realize people want the Knicks to get under the cap and start over, realistically that won't happen, so the next best way to build is thru the draft.
The one thing I wonder is what is going to happen with Penny's expiring contract. I get the feeling Isiah won't just let it expire and i'm sure he will try to dump Q-Rich or even more so Jerome James contracts. I could see Q going, but who in their right mind would take Jerome James' contract.Yankees
Cowboys
Knicks

Why jerome james even got that contract is beyond my rational lines of thinking...#SimnationComment

Little did the Knicks know about James what his old teammate Ray Allen has described him as being lazy, inconsistent, and not very self-motivated.NBA 2K18 ratings for several seasons generated from advanced analytics using the SportsCrunch system:

Thats the only problem I have with the trade. I dont see what the Denver pick brings in NY unless Denver just falls apart down the strech and thus gives NY a top 10 pick. They already have Frye, Lee, Robinson and Ariza are young guys who need PT to get better and then guys liek Eddy Curry and Jamaal Crawford who seem to be in NYs future and are relatively young while being locked up for the next 5 years.
With all that (plus Marbury), how is the Denver's 1st gonna bring much to this team when you already have a late 1st rounder with the SA pick. The more the better I guess but I think this could be a really pointless trade for NY if Denver makes the playoffs.Comment

This is where that thing called, research would've helped.Comment
