if brown couldn't dominate boris diaw, tim thomas, marion, etc on the block.. it makes it hard for laker fans to be "high" on him. phil jackson depended on brown to get his points inside to start the game, and brown just didn't come through. fact is he reverted back to his regular season ways in these past three games.Originally posted by HungryBologna -

All star game Kobe/first round Kobe should be interesting to see when he plays with other talented players.Originally posted by KDREIm looking forward to seeing Kobe play in the World games this summer. Will you be around?Comment

I'm assuming this is not another one of your sarcastic comments, but yes I'll be lurking. Many of us dont post here on purpose, between you, Kash, and a few other broken records, it is rather repetitive. But I'll be rooting for the USA during the World Games. That being the entire team, not just the Lakers.Originally posted by KDREIm looking forward to seeing Kobe play in the World games this summer. Will you be around?Comment

But weren't you guys saying Kwame was this beast now this past 20 games or so? Keep feeding the excuses.. please!Originally posted by mrs. carrabaif brown couldn't dominate boris diaw, tim thomas, marion, etc on the block.. it makes it hard for laker fans to be "high" on him. phil jackson depended on brown to get his points inside to start the game, and brown just didn't come through. fact is he reverted back to his regular season ways in these past three games.Comment

I think he'll have alot of fun. Some of the international coaches and players have been trash talking about the USA and some of its players, so it should be good.Comment

"a beast"? not quite. i personally said he'd been playing MUCH better and that he was at least turning a corner. then with these past three games, he reverted back to old kwame. i simply call it as it is. the last month of the reg season for kwame was very very solid, and it looked like it carried over into the playoffs. after he got accused of the rape, it seemed he reverted back to the fumbling, clumsy, unconfident kwame.Originally posted by HungryBolognaBut weren't you guys saying Kwame was this beast now this past 20 games or so? who is making excuses? the lakers got beat fair and square, no laker fan on here seems bitter.Comment

kwame had very solid numbers, but the stats are misleading. today he had a terrible game.Originally posted by KDREThis same kwame who helped them go 11-3 and helped them win 3 games?Last edited by ex carrabba fan; 05-06-2006, 11:40 PM.Comment

I know some dont post on purpose. They cant fathom why there are differing opinions and non purple and gold rose colored glasses all over the place.
Now lumping me with Kash.
Now I feel like Kobe. The same reasons you hate me, people also love me for it.
BTW, there are more forums here than the basketball forums in which "they" can't stand posting on most of the year yet they still come to anyhow.Comment

Dominated? Now you're bringing in new mantra's?Originally posted by mrs. carrabaso you're gonna tell me in the past three laker losses kwame dominated?
He dominated in those games as well, or was he a solid piece of the puzzle, because i remember someone else getting the credit for the wins.Comment

his defense was mostly what erked me during the series. overall kwame did play solid during the series, he just really should have eaten the suns frontcourt alive on the offensive side. today he had several close in shots which he couldnt convert. the numbers for his past 3 games look good but one of those was a high scoring game in OT, in game 5 he was a non factor, and obviously today he just didn't get the job done.Originally posted by KDREDominated? I agree he had some good looks but just missed them. Lots of the guys did actually.
It wasnt just him that didnt get it done though, none of them did. Kwame cant be expected to be a super stud on offense because it isnt his game.
Oh and btw, he wont be in another uniform next season because they picked up his option late this season.Comment

the lakers as a whole just didn't find any rhythm. i was in no way pinning the blame on kwame. i'm not ready to give up on him by any stretch, but i really wouldn't mind seeing a new big man next season. mihm, brown, turiaf, cook, a young bynum is pretty ehhh to me. like i said defense is what did the lakers in today.Originally posted by KDREI agree he had some good looks but just missed them.
